"We Break the Dawn" • First Single
It seems to me that Michelle's stuff is going to be much better handled than Kelly's. Aside from great songs, great lyrics, great production, great new look, she said she would be shooting video in two weeks. So they should be shooting video this or next week. And her broadway stuff is coming to an end about now as well. So, as long as she starts doing promo soon and the video is made available soon as well, this can be real big (Remember, she is releasing two singles before the album release in August, most likely to ensure that the album has a high debut - and I guess that if the singles' don't do well, the album will be reworked for release).

"Work" • Third Single (UK Only)
This has supposedly been sent to US dance radio, can anyone confirm that for me?

"We Break the Dawn" • First Single
When is it going to radio? This month right? SO EXCITED :yahoo:

Natasha Bedingfield Feat. Sean Kingston, "Love Like This"
Yeah. Download and physical single should have been released together to maximise sales and give Natasha the high chart position she needed badly right now...

Pocketful Of Sunshine: Album (Discussion Thread)
Thanks for the info Jark. Hopefully PFOS will be a big hit and next US singles (Angel and Soulmate?) will also do well  And thus boost album sales.. Maybe we'll even be lucky and get a Deluxe version of the album (as is en vogue nowadays!)

Pocketful Of Sunshine: Single (Discussion Thread)
Pocketful of Sunshine is #10 Pop on Canada iTunes. It moved 31-22 on Canada's charts this week, I'm thinking it should do a similar jump this week, and once the video is out become Natasha's second Canadian top 10 hit. (I'm so excited, PFOS is a much stronger single than LLT and I am confident that it will do even better in both US and elsewhere) :yahoo:

The NB Re-Release [UK]
Imho, the album will flop in the UK, hopefully it will sell well enough to make top 40. Love Like This will peak within the top 20, hopefully PFOS will do better (peak higher/stay longer on charts) as it is a much better song, as well as boost sales of the album.

"Work" • Third Single (UK Only)
Work is proving to be a big hit for Kelly not just in the UK, but elsewhere too. On mainstream iTunes charts: #2 Finland (#1 R&B) #7 Netherlands (#6 Pop) #6 Switzerland On other iTunes charts: #2 Greece (R&B) #7 Australia (Pop) #10 Italy (Pop) #4 Luxembourg (Pop) If digital downloads are good like this, I can only guess that airplay is also pretty good in those countries. Although I am surprised she isn't making it that big in Germany, considering she just returned from Berlin a few days back. Either way, I am hoping the success of Work in Europe and all will be enough to boost worldwide sales of her album... Is it just me, or does anybody else wish that Work (Freemasons mix) was released in the US as Kelly's "comeback" single? Imho, with some decent promo, it could easily boost album sales and give her, at very least, another top 40 hit.

"Daylight" (feat. Travie McCoy) • Fourth Single (UK Only)
It was released digitally in the US in March and, hmm, didn't chart. And as far as I can remember, never even appeared on the US iTunes top 100 (i check nearly every day...) So yes, flop in the US, just like her last US single, Ghetto (which also failed to chart). But I think it will be another top 20 (maybe top 10) hit for her in the UK, thanks to the cool remix :yahoo:

The problem with the SG and "Headlines"
Now that they have finally done a reunion, I think they (Spice Girls and/or record company) will not be content with just putting out a Greatest Hits... So - in between forthcoming solo stuff in Canada and whatnot - my guess it that they will be in the studio working on new music. Obviously, we have don't know...MAYBE.. they could possibly already have plenty of stuff recorded - at very least there may be some new songs that didn't make the final cut like Voodoo and Headlines. It's certainly an exciting thought, however disappointing Headlines was, Spice Girls was great back in the day and could be great once again if they get their act together. IF there is any plan of a new album, they would most probably "leak" a song on the net and see what general response is to it...if its bad, they will just say its a left-over track that was never meant to be released. And if response is good, they will say it is off a forth-coming album ;)

US success
I'd disagree...Murder on the Dancefloor could easily make US success, and with some top-notch producers I'm sure she could easily make slightly more US-friendly versions of her UK releases...

Pocketful Of Sunshine: Album (Discussion Thread)
Ideally English fans would get the new US tracks and remixed versions of the N.B. tracks, together with one or two extra offerings (even if it was just Cheer Me Up and a remix of Love Like This/Pocketful of Sunshine). At the end of the day, what's the point of having two CDS, if half of the songs on each are going to be exactly the same?

Natasha Bedingfield Feat. Sean Kingston, "Love Like This"
Fingers crossed it will make at least top 10... Either way, I doubt it will match the success it had in the US. The album re-release is only really gonna get off with the release of PFOS as a single, which I'm hoping will be a big top 5 hit (so long as radio is supportive and Natasha does plenty of promo).

Natasha Bedingfield Feat. Sean Kingston, "Love Like This"
Its according to this site here: http://www.doipod.com/itunes-chart/top-100...s-songs-uk.html. #22 is apparently occupied by Kelly Rowland's "Work"..?

Pocketful Of Sunshine: Single (Discussion Thread)
Keeping firmly at #12 on US iTunes, which is great. With such great downloads and bearing in mind airplay counts heavily towards the Hot 100 chart, I'm hoping she'll make top 20 next week and crack the top 10 the week after, with the video getting played, hopefully also bringing the album back into the Billboard 200's top 40.

Natasha Bedingfield Feat. Sean Kingston, "Love Like This"
Is it just me or has it plunged down to #76 on Uk iTunes?

'Unexpected' • Third Album
I like Mariah and she has some hot songs, but honestly, I'm more excited at Michelle's new album than Mariah's...I mean, we all know Mariah is going to make some nice chart-topping tunes...but Michelle! whoa...she is gonna take everybody by storm this year! 2008 is definitely Michelle's year...!

E-V-E feat. Sean Paul "Give It To You"
Ah, but...to a US artist, the UK is a relatively small market. I mean, a #1 on the Hot 100 can easily propell an album to millionaire sales (if its a hit in the US its almost a sure-fire hit around the globe B) ). On the other hand, she would have to be HUGE (I'm talking Leona HUGE) in the UK to sell 500,000+, which is unlikely to happen. Right now she is probably completely redoing the album, probably discarding all of that great original stuff to hook up with Timbaland and one of his bitches (Nelly Furtado/Justin/Keri Hilson/etc.) and release that as lead single... Timbaland has become the new Neptunes, everyone who wants a hit single hooks up with him, but eventually people will get tired of it and move on. -_- Oh well... I'm just hoping Give It To You and Tambourine will still be on the album when its released  ..Who knows? Maybe we could even be blessed with some cool remixes ?

E-V-E feat. Sean Paul "Give It To You"
I just don't get why this song wasn't a hit...? I'm hoping it will still be on the album when its released, if so, maybe it could get the attention it deserves. I mean, this is way better than Tambourine and much better than alot of the c**p which pollutes our airwaves nowadays.

'Unexpected' • Third Album
According to http://www.atrl.net/forums/showthread.php?p=1839842#1839842 Michelle will release two singles before the album drops (makes sense if the album is gonna drop so far away in August). We Break the Dawn premiered on March 31st on people.com. Rumour has it that Michelle will be recording the video in the next two weeks, so great news all around for Michelle fans! (Just disappointed that there is no sign of the track with Missy, I guess some idiot must have just made it up or whatever, but I swear I saw it on wikipedia  ).
