  1. And she's up to a new peak of #12 on US iTunes.

Somebody probably saw the song playing on TV, saw some crazy looking white girl with goggles in the middle of the choir, and thought: "I better tape this, one day she gone be famous and I gone make me some cash." ;) And wigga is not racist, its just slang... Her hair is even crimped in the videos, to make it curly...she's definitely trying to get in touch with her chocolate side. (Like when Mariah puts a few curls in her hair and says she's black). @Stacey, we have churches like that in Brazil, yeah, it is pretty cool, they way they dance and sing and all
  3. This really sounds like something you'd hear in a club. Can anybody say "#1 on US Dance" YEAH!
  4. New peak of #14 on iTunes. A video and the American Idol performance will seal this song's Top 10 fate.
  5. y0VeY8w0PFQ Enjoy it...its HOT!
  6. 4GOItf2_f1E I've always been a big fan of Eve, since I was a little kid. She is THE BEST female rapper (Trina, Da Brat, and Missy be close seconds) of all-time, imho. And I really love the song...the reggae vibe is wicked and the song is catchy. Really don't understand why it wasn't well-received.
  7. The vide is working now.
  8. xYmyytdd4jA What y'all think? EDIT: Sorry, lol.

Is this still getting a release? Haven't heard anything about it coming out..
  10. Firmly rooted at #16 on US iTunes. Right now, PFOS just really needs something big like American Idol to give it that extra upwards push, both in downloads and airplay. (If the DJ watches American Idol and likes the song he's more likely to give it a play, right?)
  11. Hopefully this appearance will help boost its popularity > airplay > downloads. Right now its wallowing at #34 on UK iTunes...not very promising when you consider it is the lead single for the re-release.
  12. I read somewhere on Buzzjack that Chicane had posted on their Myspace that they were going to release it...
  13. MIMHHS charted in both the US (#69) and Canada (#12) which is incredibly good for a Brazilian artist. Cannot really recall any Brazilian artist/band ever having such success outside of Latin America. "Alala" "Off the Hook" and "Lets Make Love and Listen to Death from Above" all charted in the UK, at #89, #43 and #39 respectively. Hopefully their next release will see even bigger mainstream success in US and UK...what you guys think?
  14. oU5UFSgantc Collaboration between American Idol Ruben Studdard, Dietrick Haddon (R'n'B/gospel) and Mary Mary (Gospel/rnb/hiphop). I like it, its hot!
  15. CSS are great, am so glad they are seeing success outside of Brazil. They deserve it :yahoo:

Why has Sophie never tried to make it big in the US? She is a great singer and her songs have real potential to cross over into US pop success..
  17. Is this really getting a release? Would be great for Natasha if it did...
  18. The problem with the SPice Girls and especially "Headlines" is that they are trying too hard. They are trying to hard to be sexy and cool and modern, and its why they ended up failing miserably. If they had just done what they're good at, some nice 90s feel-good catchy pop music, I really don't see any reason why they couldn't be BIG again. Headlines was just nasty, the video with all of them making silly poses that are supposedly "sexy". I just hope the new single (if there is one) is better...
  19. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9CZBXtXtc8I Anyone else just LOVE this song, big-time?
  20. A re-release was not necessarily a bad idea. In my honest opinion, they should have kept Ghetto, Comeback, and Still In Love With My Ex, maybe one or two of the original songs, added the Freemasons remix of Work and "H'bibi I Love You" (without Amine, preferably), and then the new tracks. Not to give the album a proper US release, and not to include the Freemasons mix of Work (which, together with Still In love with my ex, would have been the surest singles to save this), is just to flop a second time over :( Why they are doing this just doesn't make sense to me...
  21. I myself would have had Stop This Car as the lead single, its already a fan-fave, and Break the Dawn as single number 2. I wonder if the song featuring Missy will get a single release...that would be HUGE
  22. " data-tag="youtube" data-tagfull=" "> What you guys think? The second verse and all is included, so we now have full lyrics to the song Which is definitely going to be a Top 40 hit for her.

PFOS is now at #17, its definitely going Top 40, God willing, top 20. (Obviously, I'm hoping it makes top 5 ^_^ )
  24. I was surprised that LLT was such a big-ass hit in the States, I had expected it to flop miserably, or at least, dither about in the middle reaches of the charts. And now! It looks set to be her first big hit in the UK in a while :yahoo: With success in US and UK, its a pretty sure-fire hit in the rest of Europe, so this is really great for Natasha.
  25. Yeah. But still, Jeff Buckley so deserves it. Maybe the sucess of Hallelujah will lead to a re-release of his work?
