Hey y'alll.. I mean, I love this song...its a classic. But anyone know why all of the sudden its jumped up to #2 on iTunes?

Feedback will probably reach a new peak next week, as its still high up on iTunes and airplay/videoplay has no yet peaked yet.

PFOS continues its upward ascent, now at #70 overall and #19 Pop. I assume this means US airplay is picking up as well, so hopefully we should see it returning to the lower reaches of the chart within the week. As for LLT, it is down to #37 overall and #11 Pop, doing damn better than alot of recently released stuff :yahoo:

LLT is down to #36 overall and #12 Pop. After crashing at #100 less than a week ago, PFOS has jumped 25 places to #75 (it was at 76 a few minutes back). Its also up to #20 on Pop. Hopefully it will continue its upward ascent as the week goes by... Unwritten is still doing damn fine at #50 Pop.

PFOS has jumped up to #80 and #20 Pop. Not huge upward movement, but at long last, some upward movement...I guess airplay must be picking up. LLT is down at #32 and #10 Pop.

PFOS is back at #84 and LLT is down at #27. #20 and #8 on Pop respectively. :blink: What the hell is going on with Natasha and promo ?

Anyone heard it? What'chall think? I love this song, I had the CD but my mother snapped it in two. :cry: And this week I kinda remembered it and was like, i need to hear that! Been looking like crazy for it on Youtube but can't find it, damn :(

PFOS, after crashing at #100, moved up to #84 yesterday, and is at #89 today. It is also at #24 Pop. Whilst LLT is down at #25, and #8 Pop. The album is at #27 and #51 Pop (I imagine it is the normal and deluxe editions).

Does anyone know if this song will actually be given a physical release? A video? Promotion? Airplay?

You forget that there is a dance mix of Soulmate which is highly radio friendly :naughty:

Isn't Soulmate a safer bet for 4th? Since it was the most successful European single and charted way higher than Put Your Arms Around Me, based on downloads alone.

Its an ok song, but...mediocre. Would have expected something waaaaay better from Mary J, especially as a lead single. :mellow:

It will be given a physical release in early March, I believe. Reckon single will become available around then as well...

Her debut album "Jordan's Sister" sold over 100,000 units, and her songs were featured on Never Been Kissed and the series Popular on TV. More recently, her song was featured on Grey's Anatomy and, according to her blog, hit #1 on specialist chart on iTunes (i forget which one it was). But, I can't find any evidence of any of her stuff charting on Billboard charts....and, despite being amazing singer-songwriter type person, it seems she remains a relative 'unknown'.. Anyone else here know her? Her music? What do you guys think of it?

Third US single, anybody? She has performed Say It Again, on Dick Clark's Rockin' New Year's Eve (December 07). But then, Soulmate has shown early promise charting with downloads alone. On the other hand, when Angel was leaked, there was also quite alot of interest in it, and I think some people have said it will be next single. So, any have info on this? Opinions, suggestions..?

Ofc, after the first week, sales go down and all. I know that, its normal. ;) But, PFOS album has had a massive crash, its nearly disappeared completely off the chart. I expect it to go down, but not so much... As for PFOS as a second single, it has great potential, its an amazing song. It charted based on downloads but then completely dissapeared aswell... Now, I'm pretty sure it wasn't meant to be like that; for example, Natasha was meant to be singing it on the Late Late Show on Jan 29 (ie, doing promo for new single). So I guess Natasha originally intended to do promo for PFOS on the week following album release, and right now PFOS would be upwardly mobile in the charts. Building on the Hills and Degrassi exposure, the song would be doing pretty well. I suspect that the record company or whoever wanted to milk LLT for all it was worth, and decided to postpone promoting PFOS (single) for a couple more weeks, to give LLT a full run. Heck, they even gave LLT a mediocre new remix with Lil Wayne. With the result that album sales decreased sharply, as everyone who was going to buy or download the album because of LLT had already done so on the first week; for other people to go out and get it it needs another hit single. So...I dunno. I hope it all sorts itself out and airplay + sales for PFOS single get going, I'm really hoping it'll make top 10.

Really depends, i think. For them to take such a risk as this, I can only assume it must be a really good track. Because I am sure they are more aware than any of us of the fear of 'flopping'. So it must be really good... And I bet there will be some crazy ass remixes featuring TI or Lil Wayne or 50 Cent or Missy or somebody :naughty:
