The video has already been filmed & finished...just not released yet, as they're waiting for the all clear from this case first! There are still 3-4 weeks to go before release as well...though by the hearing next Tues, it'll be down to 19 days which will still give it time for a whirlwind push around the country's radio stations....it's not as if it involves thousands of miles travelling as it would in a massive country like USA, a few 'copter hops to the main one's, will cover a big %age of the listening population! The 'new evidence' was submitted by syco's team apparently, so it could be the evidence supports their case - maybe an email, fax or something..., if it was submitted by Avicii's team, I'd be very worried as their submission to the judge would've been finalised by now.

I still can't get my head round how slowly things can 'cook' for on the US charts, and yet still continue to climb the charts....! I mean, after a few weeks in the UK, most folks have had enough of hearing Record X and have started to get into Record Y, and as such, Record X starts to fall by the wayside pretty damn quickly. In the US, a record can last MONTHS before it finally starts to fall - just like BL did... All the stateside forum regs were saying (about BL).... things like... "give it time yet as it's only been a couple of months on the stations playlists...it'll do well, believe me!" I was very sceptical to say the least...but it was true as we all now know!! I've already started reading reviews on YT from peeps who initially said that Happy was a 'poor first record off her new album', or that it was 'boring' or that 'they expected more...' but have now turned round and said that after hearing it a few times now that they LOVE IT.... Myself, I thought on the first hearing that it was vocally stupendous from Leona and that the song was 'good'... I've now revised that a bit and think it's still stupendous vocals from LL but the song's hook has got into me and I can't get it out of my head now! After hitting the radio playlists and is constantly on in peoples cars on the way to and from work, I'm sure that will be repeated thousands of times...... Hopefully then, another massive worldwide hit for Leona that will REALLY cement her position as a global star.....

Oh man.... I LOVE this vid, and she looks absolutely STUNNING in it....!!! Shaun - dunno what you expect from an artist, but most people like to see a bit of variation....sure she can belt out the ballads - better than anyone at this present moment IMHO....but it's great to see (as the saying goes) she's not a 'one trick pony'! THIS proves that.....and I for one, think it looks like she's having a great time shooting this and it's nice to see her lovely smile in it more too... Deffo a big HIT this one!!! :thumbup:

The sound's awesome - pity bout the vid qual though!! Is/has this been aired on TV?? Hope so so's we can get some real NICE footage of her performance - she seems to be enjoying the show and it was great when all the crowd started joining in with the chorus of BL.....bet that gave her a real buzz

HERE IS a thread over on superior pics on Leona's first week as winner of the X Factor in 2006 - plus a larger clip of nearly an hour and half of the final and the first week together.....quality is reasonably good and well worth a DL - especially if you're one of our non-UK members who might not have seen how everything started for Leona :)

Must admit, I only recently found this myself - though it’s been around since Nov 07 - when one of the girls in our office at work passed it on to me who’s a BIG Leona fan....but a total technophobe - so she asked if I’d post it on youtube. It was a first for me too, but twas nice and easy....as most on here will already know :P She looks really relaxed and shows off her genuine, friendly manner to a ‘T’.....and she looks very chic with her hair pulled tight into a pony-tail! I've actually become fed up of hearing BL as it's been hammered to death by now, but with this performance, I was rivetted!! You really have to keep reminding yourself that this is actually LIVE.....not pre-recorded to a perfect end product then lip-synched on stage, as so many 'stars' do nowadays ;) She really is a talented lady and the best part - such a lovely person too. :heart: Go Leona - you're awesome!!!
