The worst thing about it is that the chancellors team have repeatedly said this week that they don’t know how many people will move from PIP/UC into actual employment and yet they are just going ahead and doing it. This suggests it’s all about the stats being reduced and not about actually moving people into work that can work.

The Giver not getting much traction from being top of the two main Apple playlists this week, it’s actually dropped from 11-13!

Except it’s an absolute tune!!

So listened to the new album yesterday and there’s some nice tracks. ‘The Silence that Remains’ is 11/10 but ‘Lotus Eater’, ‘Trail By Fire’, ‘LA Runway’ and ‘More Than Life’ are all really strong. Especially the latter, that’s my favourite of the unheard album tracks, really great track!

I haven’t seen or heard of the games so don’t know what to expect, still need to rewatch this though. Hope all the episodes are out at once as that’s what is annoying with the White Lotus - just one a week is too slow in 2025 🤣

The problem is (not to sound like Hadji) it’s a drive time show so they replay the same songs so the audience won’t be polarised by it hence huge dance floor hits and MOR songs in the chart for 20 weeks always get played every week so the passive drive time audience are familiar with the music. A Sunday afternoon chart show would give them less reason to focus on the above issues. Also, did they not do the same to the chart one year when the Teen Awards or something were on? Seems like they ditch it whoever something more important to them comes along.

Do they still release albums?
