In all fairness to them it has been 7 months since they did XF, and they never did that song on it. They must have somthing that 99% of the others who have appeared on the show didn't.

Thats not completely true. Yes, in 2007 Leona Lewis got to #1 with her second single, but she remains the only X factor winner (or contestant) to get two or more #1 singles. In 2008 Leon Jackson failed to get #1 with his next single (peaking at #3).. the X factor charity song "hero" is responsible for the rise.
