The feed I can see has Diana Vickers at #52 and Price at #54
  2. It's not always guaranteed that car crash tv viewing leads to music sales success.

I would think Price's sales will be pretty front loaded if she has so many "legions of followers" as people are saying here. I guess a video will happen only if it is well inside the top60 seeing it would cost at least £50,000 to make. And if she does G.A.Y, that would mean next Saturday, so any sales wouldn't count for the important first week of release. I think its first week position will be indicated this evening on iTunes like with the majority of new releases.
  4. I think it will be released again on Sunday like most digital downloads. If there was a video, surely it would be out now considering the song is now released, or does she think it's going to be a sleeper hit?! And let's face it, the people who will buy it surely follow her 'career' closely, so they would know it was released early and would've downloaded it earlier in the week, hence the peak and then drop just before it was removed.
  5. A big chunk of those followers will probably be guttar tabloid journalists looking for their next piece of trash that she orchestrates. Considering it peaked at #124 on iTunes shows less than 0.1 percent of those 'followers' bought the track. I hope the crap doesn't return to iTunes, maybe she took it down to avoid further humiliation.
  6. If it's #286 on itunes at the moment, it will be about #300 on the official chart. I think #100 next week on the back of physicals. People who buy it will be just her total nut job fans, you are hardly going to get casuals buying it.

I'm surprised Kylie isn't doing better tbh, this is her first single, it's 'safe' enough...
  8. Yeah, the record company have pumped in a lot of money for her campaigns there, despite many not being familiar with her as a personality. Although, iTunes isn't quite such a monopoly like it is in the UK in other countries.

I don't think it will now, it seems to have started a sales increase when coming to the end of the retail week (7pm Sat). So it might not be top5 tomorrow, and then it will inevitably start losing sales from tomorrow anyway with new releases coming out.

It did help that Corrie had finished then.

Who buys singles from amazon anyway?

Well I don't think she's doing amazingly well, just good. Very similar to Alexandra Burke. Parachute may not sell more than 3 Words, if it's anything like JLS "One Shot" it may peak too soon. Of course it helps that she's in the paper every day due to her marriage breakdown, plus she performed at The Brits and publicity sells.
  13. I don't know how Sugababes can be #3 then

Nothing like a marriage split when you have a single coming out lol
  15. Did JLS peak too soon?
  16. Sugababes might just have the edge because they have 2 other formats that have charted on iTunes.
  17. That's a bit of a strange chart, with The Saturdays back into the top20 at #16.
  18. I think Sugababes might just scrape the top10 with their physicals combined, but I think it will be very close at this rate.
  19. I'd say 550k this week, a further 250k next week and then half that each week. 1.5m tops I think.
  20. Add sales? What, about 250 copies?
  21. d22ghj posted a post in a topic in UK Charts
Well I remember JLS's "Everybody In Love" raced to #1 on iTunes in a few hours on the Sunday but it didn't sell as much as we thought, there is no way of knowing how many downloads EHs will score despite rocketing to #1 almost instantly.
  22. Now that's a lineup unlike the b-listers and locally famous acts on the Cowell clip.
  23. d22ghj posted a post in a topic in UK Charts
Although it's probably the difference of about 20 copies lol.

GA will have the most sales today (possibly tomorrow), if it's not top40 on iTunes by the end of today it won't make a dent.
  25. Colour me surprised judging by your signature.
