That´s so possible. MTV loves playing "Toca´s Miracle" of all club classics every now and then. I´m sure I´ve missed a few CC´s as they only played them whenever they had time on the DFC i.e. they might play a Classic Cut song on a rerun of the chart and not on the premiere show and sometimes vice versa.

Excellent Job, Perfect You had even more bubblers than I posted at first which is really great. I also found a lot of songs that I knew I had seen on the show but didn´t appear in the actual charts and then there are many favourites that I had almost forgotten. 1st April 1995 Hit in Scandinavia: Just D - Hubbabubba This one was very interesting. It´s amazing to see a Swedish song on the European Top 20, well not on the countdown but at least on the show. 12th July 1997 Hit in Netherlands: Michael Jackson - Ghosts A little Trivia: MTV played Michael Jackson´s "Ghosts" as a bubbler at the given date and two weeks later "HIStory" entered the chart and they played this video throughout its chart run of 12 weeks. Both songs appear on the same single. The same thing happened in 1993. Madonna was a bubbler with "Fever" but because MTV considered the video to be explicit so when the single charted on the European Top 20 they played "Bad Girl" instead. Once again, both songs appear on the same single. Coming right up....

No, they didn´t stop in 1999. They continued for a few more years. I could post those bubblers as well but they stopped specifying where these new tracks where bubbling from, if the presenter didn´t mention it before or after the song. Thanks for the completing information for the origins of the bubblers I was a little unsure of and I was almost sure that "Sure" had to be hot in the UK. I don´t recall them showing a "Hot Tip". I only recall bubblers with logos such as "Hot in", "Hot from" or "Hit in". Priceless info! Keep it up

This list of bubblers answers the question for which video by Simply Red entered the ET20 in 1992 as Markus Tolksdorfs archive lists Montreux EP; the maxi single as an entry. The song that they actually played was obviously “Lady Godiva´s Room”, one of the four songs on that maxi single. I´ve earlier made similar claims for Erasure in 1992 where “Abba-esque” was the song “Take A Chance On Me”, 1993 where George Michael’s “Five Live EP” was the song “Killer/Papa Was A Rolling Stone” and once again from this list we see that in 1997 “Who Do You Think You Are?” by Spice Girls was played instead of “Mama”.

The first track was surely played on European Top 20 as the bubbler for that week. They would show a logo on the screen that reads "Hit in Finland". The other two tracks are made up however. The provider has a smaller archive of past charts in which such bubblers are included.

So, it´s not just me................. Matter of fact; this chart reminds me of those Baltic versions of European Top 20 attempted after the cancellation of the real ET20. This is just as bad if not worse but then again I stopped believing in this chart after July 2010.
