This. The gloss and effort put into “Monsters”, it would seem beyond remarkable to have another two songs to be if a similar class. But, yes, my body is so ready for Monsters.

Given Denmark haven’t delivered above 1/10 since 2013, I’ve frankly written off Denmark long-term now. If any of the faves win, this trend isn’t gonna change. A shame as “Riot’ is actually alright.

If Legends was sent to Lisbon with that performance, it would’ve tanked. A truly wasted opportunity. As nice as “Storm” is, and indeed performed very well, I can’t see how such a tepid song can be lifted out of the bottom 5. I’m think single figures from the televotes again...

Bloody awful heat. Dance You Off was bloody superb though. Yes the staging elevates it, but I’d gladly play this in the car equally, it’s fab. Not overly convinced by Ben as a performer, but still well packaged.

Sigrid sounds bloody awful. Not looking like a great heat, however, Bejamin sounds great and looks disturbingly hot (bad sweater, but he’s giving us 1983 feels I suppose...)

Agreed. It’s Legends and everything else is way, way behind. We’ve shown we can do class staging with Lucie and it paid off (sort of). I think this has enough impact to go top ten IMO, although it’s not the best example of its genre. So as long as we don’t have other better songs of this kind in Lisbon, we could get those desperately needed televotes.

I had a brief scan through and I agree, nothing here comes close to their last two entries so I also envisage a 4th consecutive DNQ. A shame, but this is a very disappointing selection.

‘You & I” is a nice little bop, but I think “heartbeat” is far more interesting and would prefer that to get the ticket to Lisbon. Armenia are on point this year!

This is the first non-Swedish NF I’ve properly watched and I agree this is generally very high quality. Emmy was fantastic and hope it can somehow make it to Lisbon. Lisandro is also very strong but it’s not quite “special” enough imo. Of course, if the UK sent it, I would be ecstatic!

Loreen was always gonna piss this (rightly), but delighted to see queen Poli in a solid second. Wonderful to see Aminata hold up well too.

There's literally nothing between my first and second. I will have to watch them literally back to back... And then change my mind umpteen times. That aside, this is a pretty stellar final and there's songs I love that I won't be able to vote for for the first time my top 7ish faves all made it!

A much better turn out for me than Semi 2, some great songs sailed through. Delighted Barei pulled through. Double delighted that AWFUL x-factor-esq dirge from Denmark 2010 didn't sneak in. I HATE that song. But, really, are we gonna end up with a final without our Val?? I gave her 8 points!
