"Love Injected" is still beyond brilliant however this indeed makes a third brilliant entry from Latvia. It's bold, memorable and interesting but not in a daft, clumsy way. I can see this smashing the top ten in Kiev.

I listened to Statements on Spotify earlier - no visuals - and it truly is great. She should navigate her way to the final and get a respectable finish but this is still a very cruel circumstance currently. On a side note, no UK release for Robin Bengtsson yet? HELP!

'Statements" is superb. But watching it, I felt the message was tangled up. Almost no focus on Loreen and the camera angles were too static. At its worst, it whiffed of arrogance, but I recognise it's sublime and with a little work, it'll sail through to the final and could still surprise in two weeks time. I'm pained she's up against HIM next week. Total salt in the wound. Now watch me stand corrected...

I think Statements will be more about impact than just a good pop tune. 1944 was hardly the immediate ear worm but people clearly felt something and I suspect Statements will resonate in a similar way. Bizarrely, "Hold On' is just about the bookies fave still. :mellow:

Sada sounds like it's trying to be a lot of things yet not quite pulling any of them off fully. That said, as a package, it's fairly impressive (or, in the case of Denmark, a revolution).
