WHY is he working with Britney?

I'm surprised it yields that many listeners. I feel sorry for the youth of today - as a child of the 90s, the first half of the decade in particular was great. The charts were rammed with climbers, new entries and some bug surprises. Now... isn't it basically the same 40 singles in a slightly different order to the previous week? Incidentally, that post of the top 40 from 1992 is precisely the time I started to listen to the charts religiously. "Stay" was at number one for 8 weeks!

I bloody love Petra.

Needless to say this is another incredible 3rd single on the bounce. Given how elusive The Top 40 is and being overshadowed by Hideaway, I'll be surprised if this goes Top 40.... but I'm hoping to be drastically proven wrong.

Ooooh good question and one I have never considered an answer before (I lied about the second part..). I would put Freemasons "Believer" - hooky, big vocal and a bit camp. Would not win the show but very likely win the OGAE prize!

I get sick of Calvin Harris tracks quite quickly but, aside from Summer (which I thought was extremely tacky), should be a good listen.

My head is hurting just thinking about it. Eugh! :(

1996 is a real vintage year IMO

2008. I might aswell lived under a rock - I listened to mostly 80s music that year because there was sod all I liked at the time... Thank god things are much better now!

Well it's another tune! Hideaway is my undisputed tune of the year and GIMH is blindin! Th is also great although I was hoping for a electro slowie to help flog the album.

Sounds great, bizarrely it's Newman who is the better half on this. Great hook, great vocal.... but that drop is way to subtle.

I really cannot abide Pharrell (as a person) but I always really liked "Frontin" and the Disclosure mix was every bit what I expected. Keeping close to the original but sticking their trademark skippy garage sound all over it. Bloody brilliant!
