I live in a part of Salford which is historically Labour, but UKIP came a very comfortable second which I'm absolutely furious about!!! I too feel very disenchanted by the main parties so I voted for the green party, I didn't feel the need to vote for some neo-nazi far right party.

I think a 50/50 split is as close to perfect we will get. I do however think it's wrong to have the juries rank all songs in order, just a top ten will be fine.

The Netherlands is arguably my personal worse entry this year, I really cannot abide country music or anything with a country twang to it. I honestly couldn't handle it if they won!!! I think it looks all the more better for the UK! Armenias performance was a bit lacking, he didn't seem to own the stage I thought.

Cher "Believe" is a dance track in the sense that it draws vague influences from Eurodance and has a BPM relative to a standard dance track, but that is it. IMO if you include "Believe" then really a whole host of other would-be singles would need to be considered.

I agree - ATB 9pm was naff at the time and sounds ten times worse in 2014. There was so much better trance tracks at time that didn't come anywhere near as big as this, such as Veracocha "Carte Blanche" and System F "Out Of The Blue" but, still, joe public get it spectacularly wrong quite often! Anyway, another stellar piece of work from Gezza - nice one!
