Hmmm, never got the hysteria with "Better Off Alone", not a particularly bad track... but not particularly good either. I suppose it was a simple, catchy trance track which bridged the pop and trance well. Don't like "Firestarter". Infact, I've never really liked the rock/electronic fusion that was big in the 90s. Much prefer their early rave days os 91 and 92. "Breathe" is better. Also cannot bare "Rhythm Is A Dancer" either... this chart would've been much better upside down!!

I like it too! Lithuania usually go against the grain, often in a bad way, but will be interesting to see how this does. That bloody tutu needs to go though!

Sounds about right. "Insanity" epitomises the sort of dance music popular in the North West - hands in the air riffs, crowd noise samples etc. I used to DJ for a few years near Liverpool and dance music in the All Around The World label was the order of the day.

2013 has more highlights but much more dross. 2014 has less highlights but MUCH less dross.... Personally I consider 2010 as a particularly woeful year. I only recall liking 2 entries from that year.

Manchester 2015 would be perfect... I could walk it... ish. How lovely it is to say such things and be actually be a distinct possibility!

Shaft... what a load of old tosh that was! I think I was annoyed how much of a bigger hit this was compared to the proper ibiza anthems from the same time like Paul Johnson and Moloko. I guess it had the novelty factor. Scatman John... I havent heard that since when it was probably last in the charts. Absolutely bizarre!

Absolute beast of a tune, my favourite KLF track by some distance.

Remember this getting released when I was just 12 and popping into my local Woolies in Stockport - they had a policy where every new release was never more than £1.99! 18 years on and now in my 30s, I still absolutely adore it... even just that little bit more than "Dreamer", which is still a seminal track.

I think the jury vote will give it the vital push for a place on Saturday. It's not the sort of thing I would listen to out of choice but I think this is one of the stronger entries this year.

I agree, this is perhaps my douze points (which probably says a lot about the quality of this years contest). Should sail to the final but don't see it lighting up the score board on the final night.

I think "mysterious times" is the only Sash track which sounds passable in 2014.
