United Kingdom 2014
If we can send something even 5% as good as Berger, I'll be chuffed. Would actually be amazing to be the envy of Europe this year (looking at the entries so far confirmed, this is VERY feasible!)

There's a clip of her singing engelberts UK entry on YouTube with a guitar...surprised she is in the dance music world considering she looks like a folk singer! yes I think it's all pieces together that this is our entry!

I barely know who this Aiden bloke is... I just know he is an X Factor person and has had some sort of career??

United Kingdom 2014
I have a horrible, horrible feeling it will be Justin Hawkins and his bunch of c**ts. they fit all the categories... Has beens, tacky, fame grabbers, no credibility and will be a ratings puller for the BBC.. I actually will vomit if this is true

Actually, yes there is an act worse than Su Pollard...

Julio Bashmore "Peppermint"
Yep, love it!

F.Y.R. Macedonia 2014
This is actually quite scary

Hungary 2014
I was waiting for some lite drum n bass to grace Eurovision. Yes, it's the best one I've heard so far purely by default! But I agree, it's no Kati Wolf!

Spain 2014
So, I think we can safely rule out Madrid/Barcelona 2015 then... It's on the verge of going somewhere and then... nothing.

United Kingdom 2014
I'd rather Jemini than Su Pollard. Defo not Su Pollard, either the BBC will: a) send a has-been but with a strong (enough) legacy to pull in the ratings or; b) send a relative unknown/x factor type with a convincing track.

I would be up for this. Her vocals would fit marvellously over a dance track and it would be good for the UK to submit something with an ounce of credibility. Sadly, I don't think it's her...

Eurovision 2014 · Rankings
Well, I think it's a safe assumption Malta are sailing well into the top 5 on the night. They've come close a few times, perhaps a win is inevitable and I've said next year will be a traditionally hot country.

This actually made me piss!

All of these suggestions are bloody terrible. Just give me a bloody mic and I'll do my worst instead! Send a unknown with a knock-out track, that's what I say.

My top 2 mirrors the actual top 2... cannot really argue with that. Also v impressed with Margaret being that high. However... NO SIGN of micro gay icon Valentina Monetta??!

Melodifestivalen 2014 pre-heat discussion
Well yes there is that, just verrry subtle half-minute appearances off the cuff. I agree about not overbaking the joke.

Anyone know if Lynda Woodruff will be back?

A big YAY for Katy Wolf and Lena! 2011 was a bloody brilliant year, a shame it was wrecked by some bloody tragic scoring - notably Azerbaijan's victory with a bloody boring and instantly forgettable song!

Chris Malinchak 'If U Got It'
I'm really into it. Seeing it in the Itunes top 20 is mental as it has absolutely no commercial appeal whatsoever... how wrong am I!

Disclosure - Settle
OK in it's studio form, it's fine but I don't think she's adding anything spectacular to it. "F For You" is in my top 5 tunes of 2013 so it's near-impossible IMO to be bettered.

Disclosure - Settle
No disrespect to Mary - she is a knock-out vocalist, but who's idea is this? F For You is a sublime, sexy sensual house track and it's wrecked with her obnoxious wailing.
