  1. GOOD! Bulletproof is pure jury catnip and Sweden have a tendency to vote with their heads a bit. The bookies seem to be more confident also.
  2. They’re not affiliated with BMG apparently. THANK GOD.
  3. That sounds pretty feasible, I’ll be glad with that if fronted by a credible act .
  4. Radio 1!! This is a BIG deal!
  5. The five candidates have dropped and it would be conservative of me to say that Romania are not messing about this year. They are all strong but my particular favourite is Alcohol You. https://eurovision.tv/story/new-selection-p...eurovision-2020
  6. Dotter is brilliant (loved Cry but understood why it didn’t cut through). Bulletproof needs just a touch more elevation, but it’s absolute jury cat nip. I don’t particularly care for Anna... sorry.
  7. It looks like they’ve tried to rescue a so-so pop song with an interesting look. The performance looked messy and not believable. It needs a lot of work. Must’ve been a poor show all round if this clinched it?
  8. Solid first heat. I didn’t call Robin DTF but I think the camera angles on Felix were erratic and lacked focus. I thought it was far better than Robin, song-wise. BUT Robin looked very, very f***ing good on camera.
  9. I’m alarmed to say that Felix Sandman sounds the most intriguing of all of those? I like the minimal production, a bit Troye Sivian? This is fairy strong heat.
  10. I’m beginning to be convinced it’s her now. Even the bloody flyer at the top corner loosely resembles the UK flag. Also, if she wasn’t representing the UK, she would’ve said so as acts usually do when the rumour mill picks up.
  11. Interesting how her mini tour conveniently ends on 18th April?
  12. Beautiful Lie is the only properly stand out in that list. Unless it’s a woeful live performance, I assume this will be flying to Rotterdam?
  13. Thank god for that! YouDecide was well-meaning but ultimately useless. I would love them to go bold and do a “Love injected” or something.
  14. I’ve seen this before. My theory is that Brexit is pass the parcel, but with a ticking clock. May avoided the explosion. I agree Johnson is all mouth. People are worried he will push his no deal through but there is a whole host of hurdles to get over for that to happen, not to mention over eventualities we haven’t necessarily thought of at this stage. I think Johnson is very weak, politically.
  15. I’m somewhat alarmed that Johnson (I refuse to refer to him by first name), is a runaway favourite. I’m still not convinced. My only conclusion that he gets the backing is because he basically won’t do his job, will spend most of his time swanning about doing PR and any other self-serving narcissistic activities. Meanwhile, the leg work will be done without him by all other MPs will continue to play tug of war thus carving a road to a second ref. On a side note, is Johnson really a Brexiter?
  16. A lot of people voted leave in 2016 due to the promises made by campaigners who suggested we’d strike amazing deals including with the EU. This hasn’t materialised. Now Brexiters are saying we should still respect the result and it’s all they have left to cling on to because they have nothing left. It’s truly diabolical and the basic wanky rhetoric of Brexiters is toxic.
  17. Unless your protest is to overturn a political stance (Clause 28, equal pay, Brexit etc), I think they are otherwise futile. I don’t believe a protest will ultimately change anything. That said, Trump is a massive piece of shit. I’d deconstruct why, but I’ll let ol faithful Jonathan Pie do that... Brexit gets a shout out. I’m of the belief that if you support Brexit by any means necessary, there is no hope for you. Z7yRHQtMQnk
  18. Denmark first half draw? Good. Put it on first, sink it to the core. A gentle, MoR song with massive prop to get onstage sounds like a sensible opener? My faves from each final were Slovenia and Malta so my heart has took a massive bashing his week, suffering the last call out. Things are lining up very well for Oz it would seem...BRING IT.
  19. Belarus is not exactly a country that votes in line with most of Europe. They placed Iceland in 4th place last year. Says it all... Also, if they’re revealing their votes before they’re released, surely this is breaking EBU laws?
  20. Prayer circle for Slovenia
  21. I agree with that top ten - literally my prediction also.
  22. Can we opt for these over the real thing? Stellar results so far.
  23. I think I’ve already voted?
  24. Can’t see France troubling the top spot. What will give it significant wind in its sails is the PR build up. But there is a jury stake and I can’t see them voting for a very average song coupled with a very average vocalist.
