Around '67 my mum bought me my first record: The Beatles, Nowhere Man EP. Shortly after that I got my first album: A Hard Day's Night. And I've been a fan ever since. I was born in London in 1958, so I grew up with The Beatles; they were everywhere, on TV, radio, in the news, and constantly in the charts, so there was no getting away from them. I think it was pretty tough if you didn't like them!

Linda is long overdue a retrospective. She was a very talented photographer; already successful before she met Paul. I was very fortunate to go to the opening night of her show at The Royal Photographic Society, in Bath, around '92/93. I think that may have been the last big exhibition of hers. I'll have to try and get over to England to see it.
