its a combinatiuon of many things....while some acts connect with the American audiences (Leona, Coldplay, Duffy) others fail to catch attention despite amazing work (MGMT, KoL, Ting Tings)....plus its logic, a hit will not be a hit everywhere

theres so much good music from the damon albarn and co. it would probably be Blur: Parklife (I was only a toddler when this was released, but if I'd have heard it I probably would have screamed out PARKLIFE!!!) Gorillaz: Clint Eastwood (there's something haunting, almost surreal about this track)
