Absolute Radio: The Rock Off
first and foremost, there is no coldplay playlist without POLITIK (1), brilliant in concert and probably the best example of why their the biggest band atm, (2) Yellow, the classic, (3) Strawberry Swing- haunting but endearing (4) Trouble- shivering lyrics ("oh no, i see a spiderweb...") (5)Violet Hill- a heavy twist to romanticism and (6)Till Kingom come- PLease listen to this if you havent (hidden track on ARBTTH) as far as rock songs that could have influenced 1 Radiohead- No Surprises (has to be here) 2 U2-One 3 The White Stripes- Hardest Button to Button 4 Travis- Closer 5 Paul McCartney- Live and let die 6 The Whitest Boy Alive- Dreams (bit indie but still)

Out Of Control : Midweeks and iTunes chart...
its not the same though, even if they dont exactly beat the first week sales of WWTNS? we have to remember that as few as 4 or 5 years ago album sales were still massive. I think as a GA fan, everyone should be happy with a 75 or 79 k first week sales (not that they cant do any better haahha)

iTunes US Top 100 [OCTOBER 2008]
relax people..this wasnt an eroor....JIVE knows what its doing...otherwise, why would the single have been deleted exactly when the Billboard digital tallying week was over? (britney will get to no.2) get good hype for the album and then Circus will have immense opening sales in december

Predict: Leon Jackson First Week Sales
dont be so harsh....i think leon was pretty good and his song is decent.....btw when i watched leona perform x factor, i thought "wow she will have to do better than this" it was probably her worst performance of the song imo, i guess its the pressure of coming back to that monster of a show

Physical Singles Going To Go Up ?
it wouldnt have an effect (at least not a major one) on physical sales. People have got to understand that that format is currently in its last breaths, just like records ceded to cassettes and those to cds. Eventually everything will be digital

BEST-Sellers WorldWide 2006,2007,2008
i guess there really is a new british invasion.....especially in the U.S.: Coldplay, The Kooks, Arctic Monkeys, Radiohead, Portishead, Dido, Lilly Allen, The Ting Tings, Leona, M.I.A., Duffy, Estelle, Adele, Amy, Coryn and Natasha have all stormed into the charts recently (i guess its mostly a fascination with the British songstress)
-
Billboard Hot 100
not really....i dont like mariah but she still has a chance of having another hit from this album...look at Nelly F., she had a MAAASSIVE hit with Promiscuous here in the states and then barely scrapped the top 20 with Maneater...then came along SAY IT RIGHT it just comes down to hoe the public react
-
Billboard Hot 100
agree with you ethereal
-
Billboard Hot 100
"I Kissed " is a well developed concept, however. You have to take into context the whole package katy perry presents. Why didnt T.a.T.u get to number 1 with All the Things She Said (and that in itself was a pretty catchy song)
-
US Billboard Digital Chart
leona- 2.8 million, will soon join SOULJABOY, FLO-RIDA, TIMBALAND and ONEREPUBLIC
