  1. Im Happy (excuse the pun) that Meet Me Halfway is going to take the number 1.....what is the last time an artist had 3 number 1's from an album (not counting Dizzee as his were single releases) Cheryl Cole is showing great staying power
  2. Kesha will surely be top 5 on midweeks today...
  3. Looks like the Black Eyed Peas are going to take it......They have had a ludicrously great year: Platinum-Selling Album with 3 number 1 singles.....definitely the biggest American group headed by a woman since No Doubt, or even Blondie
  4. Seems like Robbie has surpassed Bad Boys and Cheryl is chasing down N-Dubz and JLS
  5. Rihanna hasn't even done promotion in the US and has jumped into the top ten this week....how can you say it has flopped? LOL She hasn't even released a video yet.....think before you write mate.
  6. 320k in the US right now is a highly respectable figure...she sold more than whitney from what I understand. The album in its current format is dead in this country.
  7. My prediction of 1 Leona 2 Black Eyed Peas 3 Ke$ha 4 Britney 5 JLS is looking extremely close, at least iTunes wise
  8. It's also very 2001: Space odyssey (recall Dave's monolith room in that other dimension) This is defintely the best pop video in the last couple of years and deserves to be number 1 all over the world.
  9. ^ It is sort of related in that her sales will jump next week due to the video...which has made em a definite fan
  10. Wait...aren't the Black Eyed peas number 1 when combined?
  11. ^exactly...quite hilarious especially noting that many claimed Robbie would be the biggest
  12. Alexandra Burke (feat. Flo Rida) - Bad Boys [ 10 ] [11.76%] Cheryl Cole - Fight for this Love [ 8 ] [9.41%] Leona Lewis - Happy [ 55 ] [64.71%] Robbie Williams - Bodies [ 5 ] [5.88%] Sugababes - About A Girl [ 2 ] [2.35%] (Susan Boyle - Wild Horses [ 5 ] [5.88%] ) SuBo is out of the question, but so far: Robbie ~90k first week (peak of 2, 3 weeks in the top 10) Alex ~180k first week (peak of 1, 4 weeks in top 10, likely to be 5) Cheryl ~290k first week (peak of 1 (2 weeks), 3 weeks in the top 3, likely to be >4) Sugababes On course to debut wihtin the Top 5 (likely to remain in top 10 >4 weeks) Leona Lewis On course to debut at number 1 (likely to remain in top 10 >5 weeks).
  13. 75k for single 79k for album......incredible
  14. HAHAHAHAH this made me laugh
  15. Leona has the number 1 in the bag...I don't see the discussion about that 1 Leona Lewis- Happy 2 Black Eyed Peas - Meet Me Halfway 3 Ke$ha- Tik Tok 4 Britney - 3 5 JLS/Cheryl Cole * *the way "Everybody In Love"'s sales are falling, Cheryl merely has to say something funny or wink at someone next Sunday to pass them the next day on iTunes
  16. wow almost 8 million...and it is staggering to think that Cheryl can quit today and say that in only 7 years she reached the UK top ten 22 times.......and had 3 other songs chart.
  17. ouch Alexandra.....so much for it being among the highest sellers of the year
  18. As long as Cheyrl has got the X Factor gig (a lot of money) she doesn't have to leave Girls Aloud.....as far as her cracking the US, it is a real possibility. "3 Words" is the best song on the album and could easily be an airplay hit.
  19. HAHAHHAAHHA I'm afraid to say I did forget it, but I dont think there are enough ">"'s in the world.
  20. Officially for me, and just after a couple of listens: X Factor 5 Releases You Should Have Known >>>Bad Boys >>>>>>>>>>Beat Again>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Everybody In Love
  21. I think Meet Me Halfway will take the number 3 spot next week.
  22. This album is given a certain warmth by Mrs. Cole, indeed Order Of Song Preferences 11- Boy Like You (reminds me of Britney....and that's not good) CLEARLY FILLER 10- Happy Hour (I really like the chorus line "Some days I'm Sweet and some I'm Sour/ But I cant help but drink you up, cause you're my Happy Hour" 9- Make Me Cry 8- Don't Talk About This Love (subtlety at its best...the closest she will get to Whole Lotta History) 7- Stand Up 6- Rain On Me (Great track, sounds very Saturdays-y...great Horns section) 5- Heartbreaker (My favorite R&B song last year) 4- Heaven (Excellent intro and beautiful melody...catchy to the point of insanity) 3- Fight For this Love (Mid-Tempo at its best) 2- Parachute (Down...Down....Down....The best metaphor in the album and very "Say It Right") 1- 3 Words (Will.I.Am and Cheryl have given a twist to an entire genre.....moody R&B with alternative electronic beats....CLASSIC)
  23. Well It's Lady GaGa....she is a brilliant popstar and could easily get away with performing a pokerface-bad romance mix if she appears on the X factor btw haha
  24. ...and the GaGa-mania continues..... :D
  25. ^lol i disagree, i think it has a life of its own....quite macabre but catchy, disposable pop at the same time.
