I hope you know that this isn't the total "Thriller" figure. "Thriller" peaked in the 80s, when sales where not tabulated by Soundscan (the Nielsen company)....so the album has actually sold somewhere above 30 million in the US. There wasn't much activity from MJ after the first part of the 90s, so it is understandable that the album wouldn't shift major figures in the period this system was activated (1991-2009).
