Its Official: The Grammys are British in '08
(Although not specifically a chart topic, I feel this should be placed here as it will probably have an effect on sales and positions later on) One word for british music in 2008: WOW. I have to say I don't recall a year when this happened to such a degree. All categories (Rock, Pop, Dance and the main categories are filled with British artists). Everyone in the UK should have high regard for all these artists For example look at Record Of The Year -Chasing Pavements by Adele -Viva La Vida by Coldplay B) -Bleeding Love by Leona Lewis  -Paper Planes by M.I.A -Please Read The Letter by Robert Plant & Alison Krauss ALL BRITS Other categories - Adele and Duffy for Best New Artist - Viva la vida or death...., Raising sand and In rainbows :w00t: :w00t: for Album of the Year - Spirit and Rockferry for Best Pop Album - American Boy, Chasing Pavements and Viva La vida for Song of the Year - Coldplay and Radiohead in all respective Rock categories with Violet Hill/House of Cards and Viva la vida or death..../In Rainbows Other artists of the Uk or that have made it via the UK - Paul McCartney - Hot Chip - Sam Sparro - Robyn - Kylie Minogue What do you think?

► iTunes Chart // December
sounds funny but its the truth the digital boom in the UK happened in 2006. These christmas songs saw their peak in recent years last christmas. I don't think christmas songs will reach the top 5 heights they did last year.
