Billboard Hot 100 - 10/24/2009
People like the song because it's very sound specific...the kind of sound that people are liking right now ("In the Ayer", "I gotta Feeling", "Just Dance", "Sexy Chick", etc, etc). The fact that Britney is a high-profile name right now just helps the song. I have liked my share fo Britney songs, but this one is quite poor.

Cheryl Cole - Fight For This Love
It has already charted in Ireland! HAHAH :D No. 13 A peak higher than "Long Hot Summer", "See the Day", "Whole Lotta History", "Walk this Way", "The Loving Kind" and "Untouchable".

i can't believe only four british artists (Blunt, Leona Lewis, Coldplay and now Jay Sean) have topped the Hot 100 this whole DECADE.

I also want to highlight Mr Hudson's new single ''White Lies'', one of the best electro-rythmic songs right now.

Top New Music from the UK...
I think Cheryl has the better single by a lot. As far as sales, I can see Leona selling more, but Alexandra has an extremely commercial single and can see her staying in the top 10 for ages.

Top New Music from the UK...
Recently I made a playlist on my iTunes from new music emerging in the UK....it went from Cheryl to Robbie to Leona......Well done UK, I was enthralled by the beats, sounds and rhythms of all the songs...but of these songs (and seeing as how all of them could potentially reach number 1) will be more successful sales wise? chartwise (weeks at the top, top5, etc)? overall? Have Fun. B) B)

Keisha FIRED
I feel really bad for Heidi...people say what they would do but it is hard to put yourself on someone else's shoes. It IS Heidi's job (her mode of living, after all, and she has responsibilities as a provider for herself/and or family)....also, I can't get over the fact that people are questioning wether she is a "true sugababe" or not...... Sure, she might be a replacement, but her vocals on "Freak Like Me" and "Stronger" drew me in to the Sugababes in the first place. FUTURE: Sugababes as an entity will last for a few more albums before releasing the ultimate "GREATEST HITS", Keisha will have a moderately successful solo album and Mutya will continue slagging off people and adding to the erosion of the fact that she was once one of the UK's soul singers with most potential.

Cheryl Cole - Fight For This Love
WOW....what stuck me the most while watching this is how much Cheryl looks like a pop powerhouse/superstar....she can easily stand her ground among her contemporaries I can easily say this is the best UK pop video this year....just because it has cheryl in it perhaps...haha Awesome quality, graphics, dancing and great shots Very Simple: Anyone that is jealous will hate.

...and "Hung Up", which is the only Madonna song I can listen to.
-
US Billboard Digital Chart
It's not, actually. Madonna has never sold huge numbers in downloads (perhaps doesn't appeal that much to the buying public of the US [generally a younger audience]). She also has done ZERO promotion stateside

'Get Sexy' - The discussion
I am quite disappointed by this new song....listening to "Get Sexy" and then "Bottle Pop" by PCD...I prefered the latter!! It is complicated to do something great like "Freak" again, though, so I guess this is an OK start for the new album campaign. With no GA this year though, it will be interesting to see the performance of the Sugababes v Saturdays v Girls Cant Catch in the fall.
