This is a good week to comment on the charts. Oasis are Number 1 on sales, Rosé & Bruno are Number 1 on streaming. The public need an official chart as they've had one for 70+ years. Let's tell them all on Radio 1 that Kendrick Lamar is Number 1.

I wonder why this crap is getting so much attention. Yet they won't even play Gabriella Cilmi & Amy MacDonald. Did someone go to off the World Cup and bring it home with them ?

If you don't ask, you don't get :P The reason they didn't do it today has to be that they still have a week to go. I imagine the Radio 1 producers didn't realise that either.

Quick post from me too. Every time we have 5 days in the old year and 2 days the new year OCC (in the past), we have always had a week 53. When it's 4 days in the old year and 3 days in the new year they end the year at week 52. Charts Plus is produced by experienced chart fans who will know what's happened in previous years like this. They get the YTD chart from OCC and publish it exactly as they get it. If they get a week 53 one in early Jan that's what they'll publish, giving an extra week's sales to all the Christmas hits.

They can sell singles if they want to. They won't count for the chart though. Bands on small labels or distributing their own stuff will be glad of the extra income.

You're right. It should have gone to I Tunes last Novenber with the rest of Clubland 14. There's little point in releasing it now. It wouldn't chart much higher than Manian did. 250,000 Clubland fans already own it and won't be buying it again.

I'll have another look at it at the end of June. All of the albums need to be updated properly, not just the ones that you see in the weekly Top 200. I don't think this is happening on the singles version. Leona, Duffy and KOL fans are free to update their favourite albums until then.

Yeah, the Lo-Fi version of Buzzjack is excellent for older mobiles like mine. I use it all the time. You get Mids, YTDs, sales figures for the cost of your normal browsing.
