Look, I could write out a whole post about the absolutely coconuts selection process that San Marino are running this year but I think it's best that you read it for yourselves. @1483146738244411393

San Marino 2022 Stripper Achille Lauro P-RloZ-Fv38

Ireland insisting on only having a radio rip of one of the songs available like the last 10 years haven't happened! I'm Loving Me is a good throwback bop that I think a better country than Ireland would be able to style out as retro but RTE would somehow mess it up enough for it to be "dated" Real Love is dull af - it'll probably win!

The Rasmus's song is out. Personally I think Cyan Kicks gives you your rock fix better and with more energy. Don't think this will be the walkover for them that this might have been!

Washing Machine is a bop but Ieva is the first song in this selection so far that I can see being in Turin.

First NF heat of the season for me! Expecting/hoping for 'Ecstasy' to make it from these first four songs.

Hurricane is very KEiiNO playing Maneskin via CHVRCHES to me - can see that doing very well with a goof tailwind!

Now that's more like it! Thank you to all who voted for moi x

Both the country bops from Semi 2 are through - yippee!

Dang it, forgot to send votes in for Semi 2 - hopefully Rob's fixed this enough to get enough of the pop hoe entries through!

Sent the votes for semi one - semi two possibly incoming tonight but depends if I remember or not lel!

For possibly the first time since BJSC V New Lexico are going ROCK! (well, kinda x)

Lithuania have had the occaisional gems in their lineup the past few years but I've not been feeling anything in this selection so far.

At this early stage Great 01 Czech Republic: We Are Domi - Lights Off Good with potential for growth 02 Albania: Ronela Hajati - Sekret Dead On Arrival 03 Bulgaria: Intelligent Music Project - Intention

Two names to point out - Aidan Cassar had a big summer hit with this and is most likely going to be bringing something similar. Twist is he's also probably going to be singing in Maltese. wknSQabkBoM But the biggest name out of all of them is Emma Muscat who's an established star in Italy with this song being certified Gold in the summer 9t7yMZhWEIo

MESC is back for 2022 baby! Do you like Sanremo but wish it was about 3 hours longer but with worse songs and an add break after every single song? Then boy will this be for you! This time around featuring the following competitors. Nicole Hammett - A Lover’s Heart Jessica Grech - Aphrodisiac Janice Mangion - Army Denise Mercieca - Boy Matt BLXCK - Come Around Baklava Ft Nicole - Electric Indigo Sarah Bonnici - HEAVEN Richard Micallef - Hey Little Norbert Bondin - How special you are Derrick Schembri - II Nicole Azzopardi - Into The Fire Jessica Muscat - Kaleidoscope Miriana Conte - Look what you’ve done now Emma Muscat - Out Of Sight Raquel Galdes Briffa - Over You Jade Vella - REVELACIÓN Francesca Sciberras - RISE Aidan Cassar - Ritmu Mark Athony Bartolo - Serenity Enya Magri - SHAME Malcolm Pisani - We Came For LOVE Rachell Lowell - White Doves

Malta 2022 I Am What I Am Emma Muscat CdMwk6_Wf8Q

Well in my opinion/what would have done the best in Turin at least!

Again full version coming in a mo but these were the unluckiest in QF2 20 49 21 45 Danæviia 140 // HUGEL - Morenita (feat. Cumbiafrica) 22 44 Oslol 132 // Larkins - TV Dream 23 43 Eastovka 139 // Ghost Stories - Fallen Souls 24 43 Numayania 133 // Captain Jack - Dream A Dream

Lotunia 137 // Girls' Generation - All Night f4w8IbQTJpY N DNTN 134 // COBRAH - GOOD PUSS iEL5yL4aThc

Sorry I just had to nip to Albania...anyway final two qualifiers coming in the next post!

Ronela takes it! I think this was probably the most ESC ready package they had and there's definitely something there for Albania to work with and refine to get above the usual 19th place or so for them. ESC 2022 NFs having a 100% success rate so far - how long until we get one that ruins it?

Two bangers occupying the penultimate qualifiers post - who do we think has nabbed the final 2 spots? Varakë 137 // SICKOTOY, Elvana Gjata and INNA - Papa F4t--TUH0Iw Holland-Oats 135 // Kinder - Bus Stop RPOOSewyqEA

Two slightly poppier picks for these next two - is the balance restoring itself? Yehesi 139 // Gabry Ponte, LUM!X and Prezioso - Thunder yCTxqM-aLtE Sovarasma 133 // YONAKA - Seize The Power csVhNAEmacE

I'm getting the sense we had an indie-leaning voterbase for these QFs based on what's qualifying. How will that influence who gets the six remaining spots? Pagasa 140 // Explosions In The Sky - Have You Passed Through This Night? fPdcWom3DXU Niceland 137 // Declan McKenna - Humongous YzMaDCAaVyw
