All fourteen songs are out on the RTVE website. Overall it seems to be a big step up from the usual Spanish NF fare, particularly this one from Rayden; PVxSKymmqzY

Armenia have won!

This be happening now.

Thank you to our esteemed colleagues in Persephonia for the first round of TBO XIV and welcome to the Quarter Finals round hosted in New Lexico. Anyone who participated in at least one BJSC contest in 2021 is welcome to vote in this round in either QF using the 18 points system. Failure to vote in a round where one of your songs is competing, however, will incur a penalty of 15 points. PM your votes to me, LexC by 23:59 GMT on Monday 27th December (i.e. you've got a week plus the Xmas period so plenty of time to fit it around/in stead of seeing and talking to your loved ones this year x) Let the Quarter Finals begin!

Qami Qami is a total bop, verging on being a banger! I'd personally add France, Italy and Ukraine to Jahq's list of good songs. I'm liking the look of the staging/lighting from these rehearsal clips; fUzq-Ecp50A

Nice to get retribution for that DNQ mere weeks after the fact (also, two entries in a TBO round is a new occurrence for me I think?) so ty for that - even though I didn't manage to vote lel!

We Are Domi appear to have won what has turned out to be a messy result reveal mMesI3_LprY I think was the best of their selection so no complaints from me!

I think We Are Domi, Annabelle or GIUDI would be among the best the Czechs have ever sent to the contest quality wise. Part of me wants to see them send Jezinsky as its such a risky choice I'd be genuinely interested to see where something like that comes but Lights Off/Running Out of F* Time would probably be safer bets.

That Javiera Mena song is a bop - seems like Spain might be stepping their pussies up for 2022! *they come 23rd*

I think it’s been confirmed that she’ll be singing in Dutch as well which is at least interesting.

I think ‘basic’ really is the word - like, it’s fine I guess and it doesn’t inspire any strong emotions one way or the other.

Anna Sahlene made it through the quarter finals with this big "was written with Destiny in mind" inspirational number V4avqk8X6ng Along with the other highlight from STEFAN with a "Avicci Country" style number aotiW5XJTNg

The big artists for Sanremo 2022 have been announced as; ELISA DARGEN D'AMICO MORANDI DITONELLAPIAGA + DONATELLA RETTORE NOEMI HIGHSNOB + HU LE VIBRAZIONI SANGIOVANNI MASSIMO RANIERI LA RAPPRESENTANTE DI LISTA ANA MENA EMMA ACHILLE LAURO MICHELE BRAVI IVA ZANICCHI RKOMI FABRIZIO MORO MAHMOOD FT. BLANCO GIUSY FERRERI IRAMA GIOVANNI TRUPPI AKA7EVEN

Italy 2022 Brividi Mahmood & BLANCO MA_5P3u0apQ

Still doesn't feel right to have the first song drop before Festival i Kenges but somehow this year we'll have three confirmed entries by NYE 2021!

Pretty sure it'll be Alban getting the nod and I could see that song doing about as well as Albania usually do in Turin.

Congratuwelldone Lookylion on the debut win. Slightly miffed that John beat me to confirm what would have been a smash hit and to have missed out on qualifying by 1 point mainly due to shooting myself in the foot by voting for Rolloland and Harmonica (both of you are welcome btw x)

I think this is looking like Lookylion's for the taking now.

New Lexico when they miss the flight gHax-EEljXE

My votes will almost certainly be late but they will be in!

Sheldon Riley, G Nat!on and Andrew Lambrou are now also confirmed to be taking part.

From what got into the next round tonight, this is a semi decent bop fu5zQSZakog and I really like this big ballad that the Jury put through 30VOESMRC9s I don't think I've had any wow moments from the first two heats but it's still early days.

Votes are in!
