I either love it or loathe it, I'm still not sure after two listens. I do think there's something in it sounding so British with a capital B which, not to compare them too much, was at least part of the appeal of 'Space Man' being so 90s britpop coded.

I generally remember most if not all of the New Lexico archive, although a lot of them aren't part of the regular rotation any more. Looking at the list again, Kimberly Caldwell - On The Weekend and Navvy - Pieces are the ones I've forgotten the most/played the least.

New Lexico...is New Mexico with one letter swapped so it resembles my username. Simple but effective, unless we're talking about winning points!

All things considered, it at least seems like we're not going for the "safe" option - which although welcomed, does come with a big Electro Velvet style flop potential. Will reserve judgement until the song is released.

Watched this via a VPN/RHAP when it was coming out in September and my no spoiler thoughts on this series were RTE doesn't bleep out the swearing which happens near constantly in the first few episodes - suspect that won't survive contact with iPlayer The UK4 faithfuls could learn a thing or two from the Irish faithfuls Production did a great job at making it a uniquely Irish show within the missions/twists The roundtables are HEATED af, especially towards the end The players kind of broke the game - this will make sense when you watch the season Overall, this might be the best first season of a Traitors franchise since UK1
