1. John Lundvik has been the only skip so far - gotta be the highest quality final in years!
2. Twenty minutes until showtime, anyone who wants the link can find it here There should be English language commentary available as an option if you want it
3. Laughing that the songs currently in both first and last place were my two nearly votes!
4. Intrigued to see how they stage this one - could potentially be a showstopper. Definite potential winner if it can landslide the juries and get a top 5 televote - another similarity to "The Code" since we're going all in on the comparisons.
5. It's out there if you know where to look for it ~~
6. A call needs to be made to give the girl some staging but there should be enough in this song to qualify.
7. Lowkey feel like this was an attempted rigging for LYZA that failed at the last moment - and thank god because those vocals were dodgy af. This is a good bop for streaming but I can see it being slaughtered in Basel unfortunately. Also, first German entry in German since 2007.
8. Correct decision made!
9. Sweet N'Psycho is the best melfest song of the year, and their staging clip looks like they're bringing it too! Clinging to the vain hope that the juries kill KAJ and the public don't go for Mans in a big enough way that it can sneak a win.
10. About time Cody! Thank you for all the votes for Latvian Tate McRae!
11. Why yes, I have been rewatching Bojack Horseman, why do you ask?
12. Hooray Herbilore, consider yourself hyped hun!

16. Final votes on BuzzJack 1.0 are in Fairly certain the top two of my votes are not normaly among the countries I usually vote for.
17. Mans won the heat to everyone's shock! Very clearly winning Melfest and I am not ruling this out for taking the crown in Basel - as a whole package I think this is the most likely to be able to score the 500ish points needed across both juries and televotes of anything that's been released as of tonight. To make the obvious comparison, Heroes wasn't a nailed on definite winner until the live performance brought it all together and I think there could be a similar dynamic going on here.
18. Cloudy June's song is my new obsession of the season. I've seen enough German selection shows though to be certain they won't pick it!
