LexC

Jafet a babe of discerning taste!

Riding the wave of silent pophoes to 18th place!

New Lexico's votes are in.

I remain to be convinced that this is anything other than a theoretical event Which would be so camp for Bhutan to arrange a national final for a contest that doesn't exist.

My spicy hot take is that BJSC is better with around about 45-50 participants. Your booked and blessed business fish doesn't need the protracted torture of a 32 song semi final when half of it is going to be seven minute melody-free vocals over a repetitive unchanging dance beat.

Anybody else watching Australia vs The World? The first three episodes have been a complete superfan's dream!

Traitors NZ (and credible sources are saying Australia as well) confirmed to be getting a third season after additional funding was approved.

Currently deciding between a few different songs by the same artist

I'll catch y'all in the darkroom huns x

Ready to compete with my gay summer bop this contest.

I was first to declare my semi's results so that means Dolly Style gets an extra 20 points, thems the rules x

So to recap (DTFs and ACs are in alphabetical order, don't read anything into it!) DTF Bronzil DTF Terra Avium AC Aeroche AC Danaeviia AC Rolloland 06 34 Dobago 07 32 Land of DW 08 28 Jupiterdonia (more votes) 09 28 Taahino (fewer votes) 10 26 Lotunia 11 24 Republique d'Askorza

AC: Rolloland: The Idle Race - Lucky Man ...oh y'all wanted a twist? Not sure what I expected but it was...not this!

So a classic AC or BUST between Dobago and Rolloland awaits us but who will get a second chance and who will be thrown to the scrap heap?

Ask and ye shall receive! DTF: Terra Avium: Santiano - Santiano

07 32 Land of DW: JELECROIS - Danza Del Ghetto Sadly Land of DW came up two spaces short. The three remaining entries come from Dobago, Rolloland and Terra Avium. One goes direct, one gets another chance, one goes home. But which is which? Predict away!

Next up will be the next unlucky nation who will NOT be progressing from Semi 2...

Getting the second second chance and joining Danaeviia will be: AC: Aeroche: Till West & DJ Delicious - Same Man Pop hoetry not completely dead in Semi 2, keep hope alive!

Getting a SECOND CHANCE will be: AC: Danæviia: Vendredi Sur Mer - Arrêter Le Temps (feat. Sofiane Pamart)

On a somewhat related note.. 08 28 (more votes) Jupiterdonia: Anitta - Casi Casi 09 28 (fewer votes) Taahino: Reneé Rapp - Mad I think this is how we're supposed to break ties in BJFest, not that it matters anyway as both of these countries are OUT. Six entries remain, two will be out, 3 get a second chance and one goes direkt til Morpeth!

10 26 Lotunia: Mad Tsai - all-american bitch! 11 24 République d'Askorza: Molly Sandén - DOM SKA VETA Category is...screwed by the semi draw. R.I.P to the pop hoetry reps of Semi 2!

So it seems that y'all were right to think Bronzil would go through, but will the rest of the results go as expected? Up next, two songs who will NOT be advancing to the next round...

DTF: Bronzil: LSR/CITY & Annabel - out of the sky

Let's kick things off Melfest style and announce that our first DIRECT QUALIFIER will be...
