Ask ourselves now can we forgive him, if he begs us to?

The Vinyl Thread
The first singles and albums I had as a kid were on vinyl so I do still have some from the very late 80s and early 90s. I haven't kept everything over the years but I've still got an original Like a Prayer album from 1989 and of course the London Boys(!) so that's the oldest I've collected myself. I do also have some of my parents' records so I have some Bowie, Joni Mitchell, Beatles etc that are clearly substantially older

I was first introduced to the FGTH singles when they were re-released in the 90s and back then I didn't get the fuss for Two Tribes and much preferred Relax and The Power of Love. Over time that's completely changed though, the production in particular is just an absolute force driving along for over 10 minutes without me ever getting bored. A shame it couldn't make the top 3, although I'd swap it out with the remaining Frankie track so can't grumble too much. Absolutely love All The Things She Said, definitely one of my favourite singles from the early 00s. Immediately bought the album off the back of it and, whilst nothing else was quite as good, there were a fair few strong tracks on it.

COMPLETE | Chappell Roan - The Rise and Fall....
Wow that seems harsh by me for Naked in Manhattan, I actually like that one so god knows what I was thinking - good job it won the tie! Good Luck, Babe to win. I know it’s a bit odd to have a track not on the album winning but it’s by far her best imo

COMPLETE | Chappell Roan - The Rise and Fall....
Afraid I find Hot to Go really irritating, it’s my least favourite on the album I think.

I’m going to love everything now and these two are no exception, both 10/10 songs for me

48 points for a DNQ feels very harsh :o Assume SF2 must have been reasonably evenly spread

Two great songs to start the top 10 off there, including one that Rollo introduced most of us to! Wondering how close Frankie Goes to Hollywood can get to having 3 in the top 5

90s Top 10 Sales- Week By Week- 1996
Joining in the love for Breathe and Milk, both are superb and the latter had some decent mixes too. Music for the Jilted Generation did a lot for the Prodigy, it was accepted as being a really credible album that moved beyond just ‘novelty’ rave - I know that Voodoo People and Poison may on the face of it seemed like worse performing songs but, among my age group at least, they were getting alt leaning fans to listen to the album. I wasn’t at all surprised when they came back this big I quite like the Fugees cover too, although obviously the original is better.

Moments in Love is my favourite today, although all three are pretty great. I've only really started to get into Art of Noise in the past few years, in particular since their album was re-released for RSD a few years ago, and Moments in Love is probably their best song that I've heard

Classic Christmas charts: 2002
Lose Yourself is the only one of those I bought - and I suspect it could well be the final one of the decade (excluding downloads). I'm not 100% sure but I think it may have been the final physical single I bought before getting the Robyn ones in 2007 (and OMG at me just realising it has been 17 years since With Every Heartbeat :o )

Grace Jones, what an icon *.* Love the t.A.T.u track, it felt mean only giving it 8 but it was up against tough opposition

This should have been a Fighter vs Kids final 😕

Weekly UK Box Office
Another one who always reads but doesn’t often comment, I find these really informative. Do you write everything yourself Lewis or is it based on articles elsewhere? If you write it yourself then I think they are very impressive

Glad that the Days of Pearly Spencer made the top 20 here, it's a really distinctive track. I liked all of the Marc Almond tracks, they are definitely the strongest things I've heard from him since the obvious Soft Cell hits.

Classic Christmas charts: 2001
PPK and Kylie are the only ones I bought from that top 20, although I'm not sure why I didn't buy Sophie as well as I did like that a lot even back then. Out of the rest, I like Riva & Dannii, Feeder, Daniel Bedingfield, Stereophonics (actually one of my favourites of theirs, although it's a low bar) There's a lot of stuff in there that is absolutely woeful though

🦎 BJSC CLXX / Semi Finals 🐸
Voted! Think this may be the quickest I've ever voted in a semi final... Not sure what to expect from SF1 really, agree with Freeze that it was a pretty varied bunch. There's a couple of strong pop songs in there from some countries that I don't always vote for these days Oh and thank you so much for the early apple playlists, that made it so much easier to listen today ^_^

Ed Sheeran - Under the Tree
I'm really hoping he hasn't covered the Water Babies, that's one of my favourite christmas songs and I don't want it ruining thank you very much.
