  1. I made a little EP: 01| Alien 02| Perfume (Dreaming Mix) 03| Hold on Tight 04| Passenger 05| Brightest Morning Star GOODBYE TO THE REST.
  2. Alien is by far my favourite on the album, and even then I feel like it had the potential to be more complete. The vocal effects really are quite jarring, but I think I like them, haha. Why are so many of the choruses so bad on here? (I'm looking at you, 'It Should Be Easy' (although that whole song is an abomination), Tik Tik Boom, Chillin' With You (totally out of place).) Til It's Gone is the best 'banger' on here, mainly in part to the fact that there's actually a bit of meat to the beat. The only other songs that are somewhat grabbing me are Passenger and Don't Cry (although I think the latter only does so because the melody reminds me very much of another song, that I can't yet place...)
  3. It Should Be Easy is absolutely TERRIBLE. Dear god. Will.i.am feat. Robotney. I love Alien though, such a soothing opener. Especially like the 'not alone' parts. Perfume is the definition of vanilla, and I've almost completely gone off Work Bitch, so I'm hoping some gems will be unearthed soon...
  4. Yep, if you go to her artist page on UK iTunes, you should fine it there ^_^
  5. Stream is on iTunes, guys.
  6. Best to worst: 01| Arctic Monkeys - When The Sun Goes Down (<3) 02| Girls Aloud - Something Kinda Oooh (GA's best - stomping) 03| Sigur Ros - Hoppipolla 04| The Killers - When You Were Young 05| Madonna - Sorry 06| Justin Timberlake - My Love 07| Take That - Patience 08| Shakira ft. Wyclef Jean - Hips Don't Lie 09| Muse - Supermassive Black Hole 10| Muse - Starlight 11| Nelly Furtado - Maneater 12| Amy Winehouse - Rehab 13| Beyonce - Irreplaceable 14| Nelly Furtado - All Good Things (Come to an End) 15| Justin Timberlake - SexyBack 16| Gnarls Barkley - Crazy 17| Nelly Furtado - Promiscuous (Loose really did have some top tracks, didn't it?) 18| Jose Gonzalez - Heartbeats (not as good as the original but still decent) 19| Editors - Munich 20| P!nk - Who Knew
  7. I can't believe I'm saying this about a David Guetta track but I absolutely love 'Titanium'! Sia's vocals are fab and the chorus is just too euphoric for me to resist. So so much better than any of the dirge I've heard from him recently.
  8. Ah okay, I thought it was okay to ask as long as we didn't post in them in the thread. Sorry grebo! Anyway, I am warming to this album after a few listens. 'Perth' is a wonderful opening track and I love the piano on 'Wash.' There's a lot to take in though so I'll give it a while longer before a proper review...
  9. Ditto for me please! Though I can't see it getting played immediately considering GaGa is currently blaring out of my laptop....
  10. ARGH SO EXCITED. I've only heard the 4 tracks that have been released for purchase thus far but it sounds like there are greater wonders to be found on the rest of the album. Could someone please kindly forward a link my way?
  11. Loving 'Live Those Days Tonight', 'Hawaiian Air' and 'Hurting' on first listen - I know this is the obvious comment but it they are just so damn summery and mood-uplifting. Apparently this has leaked in VBR today - would anyone be able to link me up, per chance?
  12. Find out for yourself :D
  13. I would greatly appreciate a DL link for the CDQ as well!
  14. On first listen...very disappointing. Generic production and the shouty chorus is a bit grating.
  15. Could somebody kindly send me a link to this please? 'Drunk Girls' has FINALLY clicked with me after my initial disappointment and I have had Sound of Silver on a lot recently in anticipation of this :D
  16. 01| Toxic 02| Break The Ice 03| Womanizer 04| Gimme More 05| I'm A Slave 4 U 06| Piece Of Me 07| Baby One More Time 08| Circus 09| Everytime 10| If U Seek Amy 11| Me Against The Music (feat. Madonna) 12| Do Somethin' 13| 3 14| Boys 15| You Drive Me Crazy 16| Born to Make You Happy 17| Overprotected (Darkchild Remix) 18| Stronger 19| Radar 20| Oops...I Did It Again Became a bit of a struggle after 'Boys' as I'm not wildly keen on most of the rest (flat out dislike the omitted 10), but very much a fan of the top 14. Woo Brit.
  17. Could anybody kindly send a link of this my way please? :)
  18. 1. Cornerstone 2. Pretty Visitors 3. The Jeweller's Hands I really like 'Dangerous Animals' in terms of melody and instrumentals, but the inane and repetitive spelling of the title spoils it for me...

Doesn't look like Tom's gonna get his 6th Open :(
  20. She started off horrendously but I think that was due to the emotion of it all more than anything. Her voice was not great but it was a nice tribute.

EPIC match. Credit to both ladies on giving us such a thrilling encounter.

Dementieva has an absolutely atrocious record against top-10 players in the SF/F rounds of tournaments - something like 13 wins and 30-something losses. Also, although Serena has lost 3 of the last 4 meetings, remember she did beat Dementieva at the biggest stage earlier this year (Australian Open SF).

Dementieva has a mental advantage over the Williams sisters? At Wimbledon?! I think not.

I would be extremely surprised if Murray failed to progress to the final now. His game matches up really well against Roddick, and even if the American isn't suffering from fatigue I still see the Scot winning in 4 sets. Murray was rather poor from the baseline in the early stages of his QF but he definitely improved as the match developed. His serving though was great, much better than it was against Wawrinka. Federer has still been the most impressive man in the tournament, however, and I fully expect him to clinch his 6th Wimbledon crown come Sunday.

DRAMA. The quality of the tennis fluctuated at times but both men played their part in a highly entertaining encounter. I wonder what this will do to Murray though - he looked mentally drained at the end and he's going to want to defeat Ferrero quickly if he's to be in good physical shape for a likely SF match against the tenacious Hewitt.
