I really can't see past Serena or Venus this year. The rest of the top women are either a) not proven on grass or B) struggling with their form.

Sharapova's ranking was high enough to get in automatically when the cut-off for Wimbledon was made [which I believe was 6 weeks ago]. So she doesn't need a wildcard or to enter qualifying. However, she will not be seeded, which of course means she could draw one of the other big names in the first round ;o

Yep, good summary there. They may not have been as free-flowing in attack as we've seen earlier in the season, but tonight United were rock-solid at the back and never looked like yielding a goal to Porto. Vidic was absolutely superb and I was impressed with Rooney's performance out on the right.

Oh my god. WHAT A MATCH. I am disappointed to see Liverpool out of the CL but I'm proud of the effort they put in tonight; they played their part in creating one of the best European matches I've ever seen. The desire and belief was there until the end and I ask for nothing more, really.

It is actually one of the worst songs I've ever heard. 'The Tide is High' was made bad enough by Atomic Kitten, but this takes it to new lows :mellow:

Ooh I like this. But I think I prefer the f*** Buttons remix? It has more...omph. I know that's not really the point of the song but I don't feel like it reaches anything near a climax at any time. That said, a couple of people who've heard the album as a whole say it sounds better when you listen through the entire LP.
