Way better than Gentlemen but still a little difficult to gage how high it will chart. I would think top 20 for sure but possibly in the top 10 with the whole trendy retro dance vibe going on these days ..ex.. Blurred Lines/Get Lucky/Treasure . I quiet the track listing on the limited edition CD single . It's a shame they won't be purchase it from over here in the US

But do you stream when you fly if internet is possible ? what do you do if its not ?

I haven't really used the streaming services , is there a way to save the albums or playlists with paid subscriptions services ? when you don't have access to 3G/4G network or internet for that matter like on International Flights , wifi signal in airplanes right now don't allow for much streaming

I believe airplay is important and should have an impact on the charts but I think the Hot 100 should definitely lean more on sales . As they are more a reflection of consumers actual purchasing habits which is the reason that there are charts to begin with . The problem with Radio airplay counted towards the charts is that many US radio stations are very biased as to what kind of music/artists that they play. So an artist that gets tons of airplay but may not necessarily sell well but has a kick ass promo team will end up charting higher than artist who doesnt recieve alot of airplay but excellent sales. Radio is not always very kind to struggling new artists/acts and even older more established acts that are past their mainstream prime but with huge fan bases.

It would be interesting to see the sales of the songs that were only released or re-released in 2010 (Journey "Dont Stop Believin)

How popular is she in the UK ?

I vaguely remember Dina Carroll first few singles doing so-so and then the album seem to take off after the 5 th single "Express" made it to #12 . Then followed by two major Top 5 singles "Dont Be A Stranger" and "Perfect Year" which helped make the album one of the biggest UK debut albums of the 90's

I agree completely . I really like the album but after 4 listens still feel a bit underwhelmed.

I am thinking it has a good shot of hitting #1 and I think it will probably be more a long term seller as long as they keep promoting right . Its so hard to estimate first week sales. I picked up a copy when I was in Amsterdam this weekend

I would say about 50,000 though it would be cool if it could sell more . I just think in the current music climate its a bit unrlealistic that she'll sell over 100K .

Not surprised Agnes got pushed back. I wouldnt be surprise if they cancelled it or did a "soft" release with no promo

Thats one reason I love the UK charts so much because things would move so fast. While in here in the US song are on the charts forever................only rarely making way for new songs

Although I think its a flop , Agnes "Dance Love Pop " UK Edition is now pushed back to 26 Apr 10 according to Amazon

I hope it would become a hit the 2nd time around but I am doubtful

We are now in the downloading generation. Physical singles I think are all but dead , which sucks especially for me since I can't download legally from any of the European sites from the US . There is some UK /European stuff but its very limited
