But do you stream when you fly if internet is possible ? what do you do if its not ?

I haven't really used the streaming services , is there a way to save the albums or playlists with paid subscriptions services ? when you don't have access to 3G/4G network or internet for that matter like on International Flights , wifi signal in airplanes right now don't allow for much streaming

I love The Saturdays but frankly I'm not surprised by "Gentlemen" failing to make the top 10 . It's a grower but in my opinion probably one of their worst singles. I wonder what kind of damage control will be done to recover. I hate to say it they should of stuck with the formula that gave them their first number 1 single

Not sure if its been mentioned but they separated various artist compilation albums from the main album Chart in the late 80's or early 90's. I think it was because the NOW compilations were preventing other artists from getting the recognition of having a UK number 1 album.

I am just excited to see its sitting pretty at #1 on the UK I-tunes charts . Hopefully it will stay there all week

I find it kind of interesting Selena Gomez has barely had any major hit singles in the UK except Naturally but yet she is about to have her 3rd consecutive top 20 album

I believe airplay is important and should have an impact on the charts but I think the Hot 100 should definitely lean more on sales . As they are more a reflection of consumers actual purchasing habits which is the reason that there are charts to begin with . The problem with Radio airplay counted towards the charts is that many US radio stations are very biased as to what kind of music/artists that they play. So an artist that gets tons of airplay but may not necessarily sell well but has a kick ass promo team will end up charting higher than artist who doesnt recieve alot of airplay but excellent sales. Radio is not always very kind to struggling new artists/acts and even older more established acts that are past their mainstream prime but with huge fan bases.

Glad to see Alexis still hold on to the top 25 albums charts and hold on to #7 on the singles charts .. Claire Maguire debuted higher but fell more spots...

Really Happy to Alexis Jordan holding on to the top 10 in the UK with albums and singles. I can't wait to pick up a copy when I am in Dublin in a few weeks... Look at Taio Cruz/Kylie holding at 12

Impressed Taio/Kylie/Travie held on to the top 10 and Lady GaGa debuted at #3 with only 2 days of sales

It would be interesting to see the sales of the songs that were only released or re-released in 2010 (Journey "Dont Stop Believin)

Yeah The Saturdays is holding steading in the top 20 on the album charts, Kylie Moving back up into the top 25 as well. Alexandra debut at #1

How popular is she in the UK ?

I think its interesting that Radio 1 has all but ignored Alexandra Burkes last few singles but yet they still all have made the top 10 , despite their lack of support for her

Yeah !!! The Saturdays and Inna on A-List looks like 3 Beat/AATW did something right with Inna

I vaguely remember Dina Carroll first few singles doing so-so and then the album seem to take off after the 5 th single "Express" made it to #12 . Then followed by two major Top 5 singles "Dont Be A Stranger" and "Perfect Year" which helped make the album one of the biggest UK debut albums of the 90's
