I am hoping the new Agnes single , whatever it may be wil be a big hit

Look at Agnes nearing the top 20 for the year though I think by years end it will probably pushed back into the 20's or 30's with all the other songs that have yet to be released this year

I new her name was some with -NDA in her first name. She is on a show called I -Carly

Her Name was Amanda Cosgrove ...she made it to the top 50 . The original is better by far

It's interesting the "Dear Jessie" is one of Madonna's top selling singles

Actually "About You Now" did chart in the US but was covered by some Tween Star from Nickelodeon and Angels was covered by Jessica Simpson/Dave Archuletta. Pop music has never died out actually in the US , it just different than everywhere else in the world. Britney/Miley Cyrus/Jonas Bros/Rihanna/Natasha Bedingfield are all examples of pop music that does well in the US. Of Course I would love some of the UK/Europop stuff to hit here as well. Its just is what it is

Good to see Agnes sticking around on Radio 1 . I heard its now #2 in UK airplay for the 2nd week

I was just going to say the same thing myself but stuff that sells really well via download channel still does ok on the overall charts so its not bad . I think we have 40/60 ratio sales to airplay over here. While I don't completely agree with the formula , it still is a way that music companies track success of their songs

Glad to see Agnes is holding at 3 , thats a month in the top 5. Bring on the next single and album !!!

Amazon.co.uk sells singles but I have heard that their sales dont count towards the Chart

Don't know if this is the thread to ask but I'll ask anyway . Does anyone know the total sales for Agnes "Release Me" ?

I have release me ordered on Amazon , which says about the same thing that HMV says, oh well at least I got a copy out of belgium with some of the mixes

I want to order the UK cd single for Agnes its not on Amazon yet . HMV charges way too much for postage to the US, so I guess I'll have to wait until it ends up in a US import store

yeah Agnes at #3 ..Hopefully she'll move up especially since the physical is coming out now on 8 Jun

Could ask her if she has any plans to make to try to crack the complicated US market ? She does have a small legion of fans growing here thanks to me :)

just the vibe that I am getting from my "friends" in the UK , the song is proving to be very popular and has a good shot of being a huge hit.. I know new releases are on Monday in the UK (from living and visiting over there) but I was never clear on when the sales chart week begins, on Sunday or Monday , or is Sunday just the day when things don't count

She is up to #16 on the I-tunes album charts .. I hope this gets top 10 in the UK . I want some more singles and mixes off this album !!!
