Dancing ● 1st Single
Yes with awful single choices... All I see and Get outta my way being some of the worst on each album... not to mention that she promoted X in the US 4 months after its international release...
-
Dancing ● 1st Single
She only sells 10 k because she has never properly promoted there since the Fever album which sold 1.5 million in the US... She needs to remind them americans who the original Kylie is...

8 Mistakes That Killed Kylie's US Career.
Not promoting Dancing in the US is also to be added to her huge mistakes... It has had good reviews over there, it has entered the itunes top 50 without promo, maybe she should focus on the US this time around and not waste her time on places where she already achieved a lot...

Dancing ● 1st Single
She should try to promote it in the US, it has had good reviews over there and it got in to the top 50 on itunes US without any promo, maybe this is the song that could get her back on the map in the US...

iTunes Weekly Thread W/C 19th January 2018
On a night like this is my favorite Kylie song, followed by Some kind of bliss and Your disco needs you.... Dancing is an Ok song, nothing special... sounds like a cross between Kygo and Sheryl Crow...

Spotify Chart Thread 2018 [I]
A waste of money??? What does it cost them??? I'm sure a song like Dancing fits perfectly with every Spotify playlist, it sounds very current and very young, regardless of the singer's age... how come Sia or Eminem or Pharrell are included in every spotify playlist when they're almost the same age as Kylie???

Dancing ● 1st Single
It's still better than 2 Hearts and Into the Blue as a lead single, but i feel it sounds more like Miley than Kylie... I don't want her to lose her identity.. i would have preferred something more electro pop.... It will hopefully reach the top 40...

First new No1 single of 2018
I would say Big Shaq's Man's not hot. It's already number 1 on itunes and has huge streaming numbers...

What is your favourite year of following the UK Charts?
2000 was amazing... it was the fastest chart... 13-16 new entries in the top 40 each week... Plus some of my favorite acts reached number 1 that year... Kylie Minogue, madonna, spice girls, all saints, geri halliwell, britney spears, gabrielle etc

Who and what will be big in Q1-2018?
Charlie Puth will have a smash in January hopefully since his album is released then... Camilla cabello will definitly score a top 5 hit with her new single or something from the album... Kylie will be releasing her comeback single in January but i doubt it will be huge... Eminem and Ed sheeran's collab should be huge too... I doubt that any of Lily Allen and Ellie Goulding will score big hits...top 30 at best...

Kylie's Most Underrated Single
Time bomb ( should've been the comeback single and lead from Kiss me once instead of the lame Into theBlue) The One (should've been top 5 at least) Flower (such an underrated classic) Better than today ( deserves top 10 at least)

iTunes Weekly Thread W/C 20th October 2017
Its weird that Jessie Ware's Alone is becoming successful while the most obvious choice from her new album was Selfish Love, such an amazing song with a catchy smooth melody... its a shame that it flopped... Q8T9vB1zIVM

Rita Ora's new single Anywhere should be in the top 5 asap .... her catchiest most instant song yet...

iTunes Album Chart ~ 2017
That Michael Jackson release is so pointless... random songs from his back catalogue put together.... Hopefully Betsy can make it into the top 30, such an amazing album...

US Hot 100 – 10/07/2017
It's so frustrating that Niall Horan is still stuck at number 11 even though he's been top 5 in sales and airplay for a few weeks now...

Will Luis Fonsi be a one-hit wonder?
Are you seriously comparing International pop star Ricky Martin to one hit wonder Lou Bega? Ricky Martin has had tons of hits worldwide and is still scoring hits to this day, one of his latest hits Vente Pa Ca recently reached 1.2 Billion views on YouTube, and some of his recent hits have reached 800 million views worldwide... I don't see Lou Bega achieveing any of this now... not to mention Ricky Martin has scored 8 top 20 hits in the UK so there's nothing to compare..

Will Luis Fonsi be a one-hit wonder?
probably yes, but who knows? he might surprise us by featuring Rihanna like DJ Khaled did after his feature with Bieber...

iTunes Weekly Thread W/C 15th September 2017
It should be, its an amazing song, 'Slow Hands' would've been at top 3 in both the UK and US if it wasn't for its low streaming... He's really underrated...

Where is the connection between James Arthur and acts like Steps and Craig David or Geri???? James started his career in 2013, while those three were most popular in the late 90s-early 00s

OCC: "We will look into the way charts are compiled"
Exactly, the new rule should be that only singles are allowed to chart plus the top 2 most popular album tracks, that will keep the chart from being flooded with one artist's tracks , and also popular album tracks would still be allowed to chart allowing music fans to have a say in their artists' future single releases....

What was/is your most enjoyable period of the charts?
the physical era of course, we used to have an average of 14-15 new entries in the top 40 each week which made the charts a lot faster and more interesting, and it helped the casual music fans discover more new artists... the charts currently are so boring and stale that it's impossible to enjoy especially since everything is so predictable nowadays, you just have to look at the iTunes chart or the spotify chart and you'd immediately figure out which songs are in the charts...back in the physical era, the charts were so full of surprises that we wouldn't know who made it into the top 10 until the new chart is announced.... besides, downloads and streaming have made it impossible for older acts to make it into the charts, as opposed to the physical era where we used to have a mixture of older and newer acts....
