it's not fair, MJ should've been number 1 over this lame Black Keys album... Michael Jackson is pretty much worshipped all over the globe yet he gets ignored in his home country....

it's a DJ Fresh track, not a Rita Ora track, if it was another unknown female vocalist, it would have gone to number 1 too.... it's a DJ Fresh song which features guest vocalist Rita Ora, therefore should not be counted as a solo Rita Ora track....

You can't count 'Hot right now' as a Rita Ora song in the same way that u can't count 'Stan' as a Dido number 1 or 'We found love' as a Calvin Harris number 1... Hot right now is in no way a solo number 1 for Rita Ora... The OCC are making a false statement when they counted 'Hot right now' as a Rita Ora solo single the same way they considered that Calvin Harris broke Micheal Jackson's record for most top 10s from 1 album while 4 of Calvin Harris' number ones were released before the album and almost all 8 of them are collaborations....

In this current sales climate I think between 120 and 130 k....

9 British Hits in the US top 40!!!! i'm sure this hasn't happened since the 80's!!!! I think Ed Sheeran and Rixton will soon make it into the top 10.... Brit power!!!

they still are interested in her, that's a fact, and the proof is her huge concert ticket sales... same with Madonna... her last 2 singles didn't even reach the top 40 yet she had the biggest grossing tour of 2012.... artists like Kylie and Madonna don't care about sales anymore in the download era since it's very hard to achieve success in the digital era if ur over 35 ( FACT)... they will never score number 1's again but they will continue to sell out arenas which is where the money is..... :P

yes, especially the georgeous 'Come Down' which is 100 times more worthy of being a single than '2 Hearts' and 'All I See'... and 'Like a Drug', 'Speakerphone' and 'Sensitized' were screaming to become singles but were mysteriously left out.... regardless of payola, 'Neon lights' is by far her catchiest most commercial song... She should've released and promoted it in Europe and then release the Cher Lloyd duet...

U probably mean Marsha Ambrosis... There are so many British acts who had their US debut before their UK debut.... I can name also Bush and BB Mak who had their US debut before their UK debut...

it might be Taylor Swift, she said that Ed Sheeran has written many of her new album's songs so it might be her, but he's the one who announced it in a way so people would think it's his new album while he's referring to his good friend Taylor....

The US charts have always had a huge element of injustice in them, especially since they never relied on sales only, first it was airplay included, now audio streaming and video streaming, which are making the charts more about buzz than about music.... The charts should only include paid data, whether it's sales or paid streaming, free streaming should in no way be included since people are only listening to a song or viewing a video because it's been heavily advertised by internet giants like Spotify and YouTube... this method really harms indie music and new artists in their quest for mainstream success... That's why I think the recent addition of free Streaming especially YouTube streaming have harmed the BB Charts credibility since we now have songs entering the top 10 just because they were featured in a viral video not because people willingly wanted to listen to a song... what next?? artists reaching number 1 by including their songs in porn videos?? these rules should be revised, otherwise, the US charts will no longer reflect people's music taste and that's what charts should be all about...

probably someone boring like Kanye West or Justin Timberlake doing his part 3 of the 20-20 experience.... might also be Rita Ora or Calvin Harris.... anything's possible...

Kylie is the unluckiest music act when it comes to chart positions... So many of her songs reached number 2 and totally deserved number 1: songs like 'The locomotion', 'Better the devil you know', 'Confide in me', 'On a night like this','Love at first sight', 'I believe in you' are some of many of Kylie's unlucky number 2 his which all deserved number 1... She's so unlucky when it comes to chart feats...

It's too bad they have decided to remove Kylie's Into the Blue single version from iTunes... It has killed any slight chance it might have had of scraping the top 10... This whole album strategy was a major Disappointment ... Roc Nation really screwed up what's left of Kylie's career... First forcing her to sing in small pubs and gyms, then not doing any promo during single release week, not to mention releasing the album one week after the lead single which is such a bad strategy in this day and age... Too bad for Kylie, maybe she needs to stop releasing albums and just tour her old songs every 3 to 4 years, until she turns 60, then she will feature on Madonna's 2028 tour ....

given her iTunes pre-order performance and the lack of radio support, not mentioning that her only performances so far were in East London mini- gay bars for an audience of 50 people,I would be surprised if it made the top 20.... Let alone top 5.... Number 22 is a reasonable expectation....

this album is so amazing... I just love 'I was gonna cancel' with Pharrell Williams, this should've been the 1st single, also 'Les Sex' is pure pop guilty pleasure.... but I think the album will definitely go top 3 selling between 30-35 k... She chose the wrong time to release it, I guess Pharrell will be ahead given his current popularity and also maybe George Michael since he hasn't released anything in years....

I don't think that's the reason, Apple. co couldn't care less about it's effect on the UK chart as long as the iTunes store keep selling singles in good quantities .... And I'm sure they will set up their own streaming service very soon anyway...

i think it's too early to start including streaming in the UK chart, especially since download sales are still very high unlike Germany and France where single sales have become very low and irrelevant... In the UK it's a different story so no need to include streaming for now.... As for YouTube views, in case it was inevitable to add them, then only official/Vevo views should count and not 30 second parodies....

the UK chart is just copying the Billboard Chart, after including streaming there will be no high new entries , the chart will be boring and stale just like the US charts where we have songs lingering for 75 weeks and more... I'm sure nobody will care about charts anymore this time next year when we'll still have 'Let Her Go' and 'Pompei' in the top 20....

glad too see 4 British acts in the US Airplay Top 10 (One Direction, Passenger, Ellie Goulding and Bastille)... I'm sure this hasn't happened in a long long time.... :)

they should've chosen one of his underrated releases such as Morning Sun which only reached number 45 and should've been a top 10 hit at least, or maybe 'Be a boy' from Take The Crown caus it means so much to him and is about him ageing and being young at heart which is a more appropriate song for a campaign...
