Dark Horse

its still way better than adding endless ready made playlists, at least with airplay you have a variety of genres which are never included in spotify playlists...

the 3 song cap is also ridiciulous, instead of this silly rule why not seperate album streams and playlist streams from song streams, that way you wouldn’t have albums by Ed Sheeran or Drake or ready made playlists flooding the charts... and the only songs that chart would be the ones streamed by music fans...

as long as they’re changing all these rules, why not add airplay, at least it helps other genres reach the chart, rock and alternative have been absent from the chart since downloads became dominant in the mid 2000’s, and also this would help older artists who get plays on radio stations like Radio 2...

what grats, he released a music video for each and every one of the 6 songs he released...

he should have waited before releasing the album, he released too many singles and videos at the same time... Cross me should’ve been a much bigger hit, and also Beautiful People and South of the Border... he should’ve promoted each single properly , same mistake was done by Madonna for her Madame X campaign, too many singles too soon which lead to the album not succeeding as predicted...

i dont think the album will reach 100k by end of the week, No6 has largely failed to appeal to his demographic, he tried to go urban with this album but we all know urban/hip hop genre doesnt sell albums, just look at Drake, Nicki, Cardi , their albums didnt sell much compared to their singles success...

hopefully Señorita will be number 1 this week and become the 2nd number 1 for both, i’m sick of Ed Bieber at number 1... so glad Kylie is hanging into the top 5, proves that it will be a constant seller...

any updates regarding today’s midweeks?

i think he will sell about 90-95k... which is very good in this day and age...

yes indeed it is a creative masterpiece    one two cha cha cha is a creative masterpiece... just put it at the Louvres museum next to La Joconde... the problem is that old Madonna just cannot accept that she’s no longer relevant, thats why she triies to include all these rappers and current singers in order to appeal to a young audience... Just look at the B!tch I’m Madonna video and you’ll see what i’m talking about... or maybe try her video for Crave where she acts like a dumb teenager...pathetic really... she’s the Queen of Pop, she should not stoop to this level...

At least Kylie is not alienating her actual fanbase in order to get younger ones, she releases music for her fans which she knows mostly consists of gay men and middle aged women, on the other hand, Madonna is so desperatly trying to be relevant to the younger demographic that she keeps guest featuring any relevant rapper starting with Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, Drake, Swae Lee, Quavo, Maluma , Kanye etc....that she forgot who she wants to please, she keeps repeating and rehashing the same ideas and themes over and over such as politics, christianity,sex... Kylie is all about fun and good music, she’s the Goddess of Pop and a worldwide icon, even if she hasn’t had a huge career in the US but she’s famous everywhere else...Madonna is the Queen of Pop but in my opinion she should’ve retired right after her 2009 Greatest Hits album...

it’s a flop album, not a flop opinion

thks for reminding me.... i just added it

Not to mention that Kylie’s album is 100 times better than Madonna’s awful new album... i’m a big Madonna fan but this album is by far the worst she has ever released in terms of music quality, even worse than American Life, Hard Candy and MDNA... ‘

such a shame... if it was the 90s i’m sure he would have scored 10 top 5 hits at least, but due to the overwhelming influence of streaming, this style of music is seldom represented in the chart...

i thought Madonna will at least scrape the hot 100 thanks to youtube views of her Billboard music awards performance, but i guess they didnt count them...

i think it will sell between 7-8k and reach the top 10.... she has released far too many greatest hits albums...most fans already own the 2012 version, and the 3 new tracks are not enough to generate interest....

new songs by kylie and Madonna during the same week...a gay man’s dream come true... i love the Kylie song though, should’ve been a lead single from a new studio album... Madonna’s single is underwhelming, i expected more after the atrocity that was Medellin...

i thought that Madonna’s Medellin will at least be in the bubbling under chart... total flop

my two favorite albums of her are Try This (which is so underrated), and I’m not Dead

i love Pink but i’m not a fan of her new album... she’s becoming way too MOR and boring...

horrible result for Madonna.... i thought at least her fans will download-stream enough to make it top 40... but obviously her fans didnt like that song...

there should cancel ACR altogether and replace it with a recurrent rule same as in the US Billboard Charts, meaning songs that stay in the chart for more than 25 weeks and are below number 40 in the chart are automatically disqualified, only songs who have enough chart sales to be in the top 40 remain....

Wheres Anteros in the album chart?

actually most people who buy Cds/ physicals are men, and vinyls are actually pretty popular with the 18-35 demographic...
