  1. Dark Horse posted a post in a topic in UK Charts
why did everyone decide to release on the 6th of October, couldn't the Saturdays have released it this week???
  2. they should do a recurrent chart rules for singles like in the US charts, that way it prevents old songs from re-charting making the top 40 look outdated , irrelevant & boring.. songs over 1 year should be non-eligible to chart on the main Official chart, while a separate chart would be established in order to includes all songs: old & new.... most people are sick of seeing Chasing Cars, Run, Listen, Gold Digger, Skinny Love and Paradise 100 years after their release....
  3. because the Turkish think they invented everything the Arab people did, while they actually didn't :D
  4. ;) actually it's not a Turkish vibe but an Arabic vibe B-)
  5. This YouTube addition has made the US charts more ridiculous than it already was... What's with The fox entering so high???? last time I checked it hasn't sold enough to reach the iTunes top 500!!!
  6. glad to see Same Love in the top 10.... it was subjected to a huge injustice in the States by being stuck at number 11 for 5 weeks while it was selling way more than the 6-10 positions.... hope it goes top 10 in the UK and pave way for more gay themed songs.... ..
  7. Why is Mirrors still climbing? Aren't people sick of it yet?
  8. Turn it into love. Not releasing this song as the follow up to the Locomotion in the US practically killed her US career...
  9. Chris Brown's Fine China : as much as i hate him as a person, i have to admit that Fine China is to me the best song /best video of the year even if it's an MJ rip-off/tribute.... great choreography!!!
  10. Releasing a video didn't help any of Gaga's songs climb the chart since 'Telephone'.. i remember 'Alejandro' and 'Born this way' falling down quicker after their videos were released...
  11. after the Matt Cardle/Mel C hit please a Joe McElderry/Geri Haliwell surprise hit too???
  12. who would have thought a former Spice Girl would be in the iTunes top 10 ??? come on Geri, release that long awaited comback single :yahoo:
  13. i really don't get how Maroon 5's Love Somebody is ahead of Macklemore's 'Same Love' when the latter has a 40% lead on sales and 20% on streaming...weird chart!!! maybe the people who compile the chart are on holiday? and decided to keep the top 20 as it is...
  14. So if Robin Thicke's fanbase is 90% African American women like ur saying, then there must be millions of African American women around the world since his albums have been selling around Europe and the rest of the world for a decade now and a lot more since his last album Blurred lines, but I'm sure u didn't bother listening to it because if u did, u wouldn't be making these comments... His album is pop-soul-electrofunk which is a genre KNOWN to appeal equally to all races and demographics, and not just African American women.
  15. sorry but a big percentage of One Direction's fans are young boys, and even older gay men, they just don't go to their concerts, and Robin Thicke's fans are in the same demographic as were Michael Jackson's fans, so they're definitly not all black!!!! as for Taylor Swift, well i don't think there are many republicans in UK ;)....
  16. I can't believe Maroon 5's Love Somebody is ahead of Same Love by Macklemore & Lewis and kept it from reaching the top 10 while SAme Love is way ahead on sales and streaming.... it's so unfair...
  17. A download costs 5 cents in Korea therefore the high sales.... besides maybe.the sales indicate overall sales not weekly sales...
  18. Urban or not, 'Same Love' is a gay anthem therefore would be a surprise and welcome addition to the US top 10... I would be really shuffed if it gets stuck at 11 :(
  19. I wonder when or if 'Same love' will ever make it into the top 10....
  20. 'Summertime sadness' was such a huge number 1 hit in my country Lebanon, so when she performed it live here in Byblos, Lebanon 2 weeks ago everyone just went mad for it and started screaming throughout the whole song...
  21. Very interesting countdown... just proves how low sales have become internationally compared to previous years...
  22. Let It Go- Alexandra burke Timebomb-Kylie Minogue Flower- Kylie Minogue Better than today- Kylie Minogue Till the world ends- Britney Spears I wanna go- Britney Spears Live it up- Jennifer Lopez Girl Gone wild - Madonna
  23. I predict sales at number 1 between 10 and 12 k average for the August period... no interesting new releases and current top 10 albums are already worn out so.can't see any of them generating big sales again, unless Emeli Sande promotes the 28th single from her Our Version of Events album during Kate Middleton's labour...
  24. It's weird to see so many R&B & hip hop songs high in the top 40 while they're nowhere to be seen in the iTunes top 100....
  25. Kylie said in her.Souncheck US interview yesterday that 'Skirt' is a buzz single for the fans and the album might not.be ready before 2014...
