Dancing ● 1st Single
Yes with awful single choices... All I see and Get outta my way being some of the worst on each album... not to mention that she promoted X in the US 4 months after its international release...

Dancing ● 1st Single
She only sells 10 k because she has never properly promoted there since the Fever album which sold 1.5 million in the US... She needs to remind them americans who the original Kylie is...

8 Mistakes That Killed Kylie's US Career.
Not promoting Dancing in the US is also to be added to her huge mistakes... It has had good reviews over there, it has entered the itunes top 50 without promo, maybe she should focus on the US this time around and not waste her time on places where she already achieved a lot...

Dancing ● 1st Single
She should try to promote it in the US, it has had good reviews over there and it got in to the top 50 on itunes US without any promo, maybe this is the song that could get her back on the map in the US...

iTunes Weekly Thread W/C 19th January 2018
On a night like this is my favorite Kylie song, followed by Some kind of bliss and Your disco needs you.... Dancing is an Ok song, nothing special... sounds like a cross between Kygo and Sheryl Crow...

Friday Chart Predictions
Because they were never relevant, why bother pay for a music video when you can access it on YouTube anytime u want???
-
Friday Chart Predictions
Totally agree, its about time too.... YouTube is a form of active listening and i think official music videos and lyric videos and audio streams should count into the chart same as spotify...

Friday Chart Predictions
this is a music forum, so all people here are music fans, but the regular person who only listens to music in his/her car or at social gatherings will not bother creating a playlist for each mood, they usually tend to listen to the most visible playlists on spotify....therefore the advantage some songs have on others when they get included on these playlists....

Friday Chart Predictions
The current singles chart has become a joke.... the same songs hanging around for months, the same artists and music genre in the charts... Streaming has made the chart even worse: it is being manipulated by ready made Hot Hits UK streaming lists which r mostly dominated by hip hop and Ed sheeran songs , therefore leave no place for rock bands, and no place for older acts... It has become so predicTable and stale, a far cry from the late 90s and early 00's charts where u had a variety of music genres and artists in the charts, and acts used to chart based solely on the song's popularity among music consumers who actually want the song and therefore go out and purchase it, not passive listeners who just put on a playlist on repeat in their office or at home without caring much about the quality of the songs...

Spotify Chart Thread 2018 [I]
A waste of money??? What does it cost them??? I'm sure a song like Dancing fits perfectly with every Spotify playlist, it sounds very current and very young, regardless of the singer's age... how come Sia or Eminem or Pharrell are included in every spotify playlist when they're almost the same age as Kylie???

Radio 1 Playlist (19/01/18)
Agree 100%...Well said

Radio 1 Playlist (19/01/18)
It should be about the songs, not about the artists... isn't this what music is all about? Radio one's policy is very biased against older acts, not because they don't need it, it's just because their policy is ageist... radio airplay should be about the quality of the songs, not about the artist's age.... so you think that songs by artists such as Ramz, Shaq. j Hus, anne marie etc are better than the new offerings by established artists such as U2, Kylie, Robbie or Steps???? I don't think so... If they want to keep any credibility, Radio One should be a lot less ageist and focus more on the quality of the songs and less on artists age...

Radio 1 Playlist (19/01/18)
Its weird that they keep playlisting the same flop songs over and over even though they made no impact whatsoever on the charts and yet they refuse to playlist classic artists like Kylie and Robbie and the Pet Shop Boys and Madonna just because they appeal to a 35+ audience... ridiculous...

Dancing ● 1st Single
It's still better than 2 Hearts and Into the Blue as a lead single, but i feel it sounds more like Miley than Kylie... I don't want her to lose her identity.. i would have preferred something more electro pop.... It will hopefully reach the top 40...

Top 100 Singles + Albums; W/E 04/01/2018 *NYE WEEK*
Glad to see Kylie finally reach the top 40 with Santa Baby... would have hoped one of her own Christmas songs to take off since her Kylie Christmas has so many great Christmas originals like "Everyday's like christmas' and 'At Christmas'...

First new No1 single of 2018
I would say Big Shaq's Man's not hot. It's already number 1 on itunes and has huge streaming numbers...

What is your favourite year of following the UK Charts?
2000 was amazing... it was the fastest chart... 13-16 new entries in the top 40 each week... Plus some of my favorite acts reached number 1 that year... Kylie Minogue, madonna, spice girls, all saints, geri halliwell, britney spears, gabrielle etc

Who and what will be big in Q1-2018?
Charlie Puth will have a smash in January hopefully since his album is released then... Camilla cabello will definitly score a top 5 hit with her new single or something from the album... Kylie will be releasing her comeback single in January but i doubt it will be huge... Eminem and Ed sheeran's collab should be huge too... I doubt that any of Lily Allen and Ellie Goulding will score big hits...top 30 at best...

Kylie's Most Underrated Single
Time bomb ( should've been the comeback single and lead from Kiss me once instead of the lame Into theBlue) The One (should've been top 5 at least) Flower (such an underrated classic) Better than today ( deserves top 10 at least)

Friday Chart Predictions
Niall Horan is doing great... especially in the US, he will enter at number 1 with around 160k-180k in sales which is amazing in this day and age...

iTunes Weekly Thread W/C 20th October 2017
Its weird that Jessie Ware's Alone is becoming successful while the most obvious choice from her new album was Selfish Love, such an amazing song with a catchy smooth melody... its a shame that it flopped... Q8T9vB1zIVM
