  1. this is actually by far their strongest single to date,(followed by All Fired Up and Up) and that's why they chose it to lauch their career in the US, i agree with you about the Sean Paul feature though , it's really pointless since he's a has been in the US, they should've replaced him with Pitbull or Flo Rida.... but i disagree with you on the 'f*** America' part, since America is the ultimate goal for each and EVERY artist including ones who say they don't care about it, America is still the biggest music market in the world and becoming a success there takes you to worldwide success straightaway...
  2. it's really sad that such a pop classic has been ignored by the UK public and it took a Glee cover to launch it Stateside... 1-JsfrV2K5c
  3. I didn't say she was unknown outside of the UK, I'm from Lebanon an her songs get played on the radio here all the time...I'm just saying she isn't known in the US therefore the international media doesn't recognize her success as they do with successful US artists like Britney , Pink and Katy perry... She deserves more US success than what she had already...
  4. Why are there large decreases today???
  5. She is Underrated worldwide, she has tens of great classic pop songs but has only scored 2 hits in the US which makes her really underrated.... Maybe she's really popular in the UK, but in the rest of the world she is widely unknown....
  6. Kylie overrated??? She's one of the most underrated artists in the world, if there's any justice, she should've been more successful than Madonna ....
  7. Now Marina up to number 114 !!! come on Marina crack the top 100 !!!!
  8. It's unfortunately number 2 on the Billboard Charts thanks to the stupid new rule which counts home-made YouTube videos into the official charts leading to Harlem Shake being the number 1 instead of the real big seller...
  9. Marina and the Diamonds up to number 146 on the US iTunes with How to be a heartbreaker. probably thanks to its use on Glee !!!
  10. it's so unfair to see Harlem Shake still at the top while Thrift Shop is way well ahead in terms of sales, on-demand streaming, and airplay, the only winning point for Harlem Shake in the chart is those user-made 30 second videos which shouldn't even count in the official chart but unrightfully do... this silly rule gotta change, otherwise we will have dozens of Harlem Shakes style crazes that stick around at number 1 for ages without selling enough copies to deserve it....
  11. he was only famous in the Uk back in 2007.while now he's an international artist...
  12. it will now since he's become world-famous recently...
  13. how can Diana Vickers be overrated while she's only had 1 UK hit so far and is yet unknown to.the rest of the world???. same goes concerning Girls.Aloud since they're unknown outside.the UK...

They're talking about the closures already mentioned in the list before not new ones...
  15. UK -Emeli Sande ( she has 2 OK songs 'Next to me' and 'Heaven', but the rest is just dull, so enough shoving her down our throats everywhere Olympics, Brits, etc....) if she had come out in the 90's she would've been as non-successful as Shara Nelsen or Mica Paris... -Rita Ora (her biggest hit sounds like a Sugababes leftover from 2004, enough said...) -Ed Sheeran (very dull, his songs at best sound like James Blunt B-Sides) -Conor Maynard (the British Justin Bieber??? not really- only his Ne-Yo collaboration is good, the rest is just average at best...) Worldwide -Beyonce (her last good song was in 2003, but she's been everywhere since, and she's married to Jay-Z hence her success... way overrated) -Eminem (he's really talented at ruining nice hooks with his bad rapping starting with his Dido massacre and ending with 'love the way you lie' etc...) -Flo Rida (he raps over 80's songs, where's the talent in that? it's OK if it was a novelty, but he's been around since forever and scored a zillion hits and featured on a zillion others etc...) -Justin Bieber ( :puke2: ) -Lil' Wayne (in the US he has scored now more hits than Elvis Presley, thanks to his never ending collaborations etc...) -Pitbull (i wonder when he has the time to record all these features, now he'll still looking for someone he hasn't collaborated with...still looking B-) ) I know i will get bashed for mentioning these artists but that's my opinion, i'm sure a lot agree...
  16. classic FLOP ... it wasn't a hit anywhere in the world, so i'm sure she wouldn't have risked anything if she released something different-sounding and not the usual camp disco-pop from 2001... 'Come down', 'Sensitized' and 'Speakerphone' would've shown a different side to Kylie but she chose to stick to her usual formula... and it's not working anymore... 'Aphrodite' the album was great but it was too safe, that's why it flopped... she needs to try something new and at this stage in her career she can't afford any more flops...
  17. she didn't release or promote All the lovers in the US dear :D , she promoted the dire 'Get outta my way' which flopped terribly... i'm sure 'Come Down' would've done a lot better in the US than the dire 'Get outta my way' or the lame 'All I See'...
  18. the whole world, latin america, italy, spain , she could've featured a known US rapper like Flo Rida or Drake and scored a US hit.....
  19. i know, no need to be rude though, what i meant is that Kylie's main fanbase is gay men, and 'Come Down' was really popular among gay men and could've been an intenational hit for her... the whole world is not the UK right???? Le6P4ZAHZZw
  20. it's you opinion but in Lebanon (where i'm from), it's being played in gay clubs and people go crazy ove it... so it has big potential in my opinion....
  21. Come Down should've been released as a single, in fact it would've made a much better lead single from X than 2 Hearts...
  22. i'd hate her to.collaborate with people like Rita Ora or Nicki Minaj. it would make her seem.desperate for a.hit. I'd rather she collaborates with talented and relevant artists like Calvin Harris or Rihanna... that would do her career wonders....
  23. Dark Horse posted a post in a topic in UK Charts
    Bastille 32 k Dido 27 k Stereophonics 19 k
  24. that Kendrick Lemar feature on Dido's Let Us Move On was really pointless and will.not gain her any new fans... it's not like she's gonna be the new Nicki Minaj and compete with Lil Wayne and Drake in the hip hop.charts... Dido is not relevant anymore not because she's 41 : there are many older acts having top 20 hits, Dido is irrelavant now because she's been releasing.the same songs for 14 years now and people, including her fans, are bored now and already moved on to Adele and Emeli Sande who are releasing better tunes than hers...
  25. why is Olly Murs stalling so soon???
