it seems.the inclusion.of Youtube views in the.US helped rap/R&B songs since most of the songs going up are from.that genre.... on.the other hand country songs are.getting fewer...

Shouldn't he be higher up... His single was top 20 the whole week on iTunes and his airplay is rising... I guess his YouTube views are not enough....

That YouTube addition is really ridiculous, that would lead to hundreds of so call Viral videos attempts per week and ridiculous dance moves... Justin Bieber'Baby had 800 millions and twice as many dislikes as likes.. Same for Rebecca Black's Friday: that's the main examples why views are not important... I could just view a video because it's viral but wouldn't buy the single... Should people's curiosity be counted as the same as people's likeness of a song??? I guess not.. That's why this YouTube/streaming totally ruined the chart... sales is the real indicator of a song's success , other means are just Not real....

i think radionand video sreams are overrated in the US, and this new rule means songs like Harlem Shake and Gangnam style would be number 1 for months... and that YouTube addition is ridiculous, everyone will start releasing viral/pornographic videos to get more views...

In my opinion, 'What about us' is the only number 1 worthy Saturdays single so far , and they did a good choice of launching their US career with this one... such a shame it flopped there though...

why, they are the biggest two female artists in the world from.the 80's, a duet would.be amazing ...

Calvin Harris, Santigold ((something that sounds like Christina's Monday Morning),a duet with Madonna would do nicely, and why not get Greg Kurstin again ???

This kiss was the only other obvious single apart from Call me maybe yet it totally flopped.... this song sounds like a Hannah Montana reject from 2008 remixed by a school DJ.. major flop...

'Hey you beautiful' from his latest album sounds like a better version of Maroon 5's One more night, and i'm sure will be a huge international hit if released and promoted....

yeah but you can't compare Adele to 1D and the Wanted.. Adele's audience is mature and ranges from 20 somethings to 50+ category, while 1D & The Wanted's main fanbase is teenage girls & kids which will soon move on to the next big thing... the only way for 1D to survive if they mature and change their music style in the next 2 years, otherwise they would disappear and flop.... Adele is a real artist/singer-songwriter whereas 1D is a manufactured pop act....

Labrinth could've scored huge US hits with 'Earthquake', 'Express Yourself' and 'Beneath your beautiful' , the first two are very suitable for the American market and the third's success depends on Emeli's US career otherwise she should be replaced with a female with a big US audience like Alicia Keys or someone else....

you're totally right... both tracks are OK but are better off as album tracks, and both should've been replaced with far superior album tracks like 'Like a drug', 'Speakerphone', 'Sensitized' from X and 'Cupid Boy' or 'Aphrodite' from 'Aphrodite'...
