i never ignored other people's opinions, ur are only trying to prove that my theory is wrong while i can prove u it's right : statistics proved that there is 99 illegal downloads for each legal download (worldwide) and i'm sure the rate is almost as high in the UK, ok so single sales are at an all time high but i'm talking mainly about album downloads here ... they will never reach the same levels as CD sales and time will prove that... album.downloads are expensive given the quality of.the product u r getting (lower quality, no design...) while.CD albums are relatively cheap ... illegal downloads can make up for legal ones but they can't make up for physical.CD's...

then please give me a better one....

it's because most singles can be purchased for 0.99 while albums are at 7.99 as average so most people would pay 99.p but they wouldn't bother paying 7.99 for a download album that they can get for free online....

it can be somewhat stopped if the government actually gave it some thought by forcing multi-billion dollar US companies like Amazon and iTunes to pay taxes to the UK government and not just let them evade while UK stores like HMV struggle with high rents, costs and taxes....

you can't just eliminate piracy from the equation... it is indeed the main reason why sales are falling everywhere, more so in other parts in the world than in the UK, especially in Eastern Europe, Latin America and Asia where the number 1 digital album download sells 3 to 5 copies per week !!!! it's not the quality of the music, not the promotion, it's only related to the music being available everywhere on the internet for free,and everywhere, weeks before its actual release.... if u can get the same thing for free why pay for it??? Digital downloads albums will NEVER be a substitute for physical CD's and will never sell as much, and the US which is 2-3 years ahead of the UK in terms of music industry trends has proven that fact since digital has yet to take the larger share of the album markets + besides all the iTunes/ Amazon (25 cent) deals also help inflate digital album sales but it's basically just masking the problem which is that the album format is indeed dead....

they actually can if they stop online piracy and illegal downloads which killed the music industry in the first place... so yrs the physical format can.be saved but they're not doing anything to save it...

it's a real shame since it was the first place i'd go to whenever i travel to the UK, also millions of tourists,including me, entering the Uk each year, will not be able to buy the latest Uk releases anymore... such sad news... however i think the Uk government should help save the entertainment giant by reducing taxes and costs since the entertainment industry is a key income for the UK economy....

expect album sales.to drop.by at least 25% after the closure....

Why would she start a new Career at 44??? People love her for her music not for her acting ... Is acting in Z-rated indie films her career goal??? I hope not... An regarding her sacking her manager it might be for her best, since he hasn't quite helped her the past 10 years and took some really wrong career damaging decisions regarding her last 3 studio albums... She needs a new manager with a new vision..,

yeah, 'Like a Drug' is to X what CGYOOMH is to Fever... It was a real crime from her record label's side not releasing it as the first single, an choosing the filler '2 Hearts' over it... Anyone who listens to Like a drug gets instantly hooked...

These days??? His first UK number 1 'Right Now' had a sample so basically he made a career out of sampling other people's songs...

We have but they haven't included download sales yet, might start soon though... It's now up to number 2 just behind Gangnam style....

there was a campaign at facebook Lebanese Kylie fans page to get one of her songs to number one on iTunes.. The choice went for album Track from X Like A Drug.. result: song climbed to Number 8 then number 2.... Should reAch number 1 by tomorrow :dance:

-Kylie Minogue -Bananarama (they released an amazing Ep in 2012 that didn't chart) -Duran Duran ( their last single Girl Panic had one of the most expensive videos of all time.yet it didn't chart so hope they do this time around) -Janet Jackson -Cyndi Lauper -Sheryl Crow -Garbage -Roxette -Blur -Geri Haliwell -George Michael -Pet Shop Boys etc...

she's regarded as too old for the digital age and radio will.completly ignore her... i predict a flop for.both her single and album, even though i'm sure they'll be amazingly good like her previous 3 albums...

now up to.numbers 4 and 5.... and On a night like this is at number 6....

And thanks to a Facebook campaign for Like a drug to reach number 1 the song has climbed as far as number 2 And sits currently at number 3 in the Lebanese iTunes top 10... More downloads should get it to Number 1 by tomorrow....

they're looking sexier than ever now in their.late 20's early 30's,.especially.Antony Costa, he looks hot in the Hurt video....

in the US , will.I.am's 2 previous singles flopped terribly and This is love failed to chart while Scream & Shout zoomed to the US iTunes number 1. So yeah Britney is the main selling point and I'm sure anyone will recognize it's her singing from her voice and her 'Britney B!tch' part.... B-)

because all the nominees on that list have either scored a number 1 single or a number 1 album in 2012, including Madonna which Pink and Kylie didn't achieve. As much as i adore both artists, and they are, along with Britney Spears my top 3 favorite female artists ever, yet i didn't nominate them for that reason... PS: Madonna has the highest grossing worldwide tour of 2012, and that alone is enough reason to nominate her....
