  1. i don't think electro pop is dominating at the moment, it's only beginning to appear in the US charts... while R&B/Hip hop songs have been dominating charts for more than 20 years now, the eletcro pop phenomenon has just appeared a few months ago... and YES.... to be honest, the On-Demand chart is completely dominated by US R&B/hip hop songs bar certain other pop hits, Drake & Lil'Wayne have together 12 out of the 50 songs on that chart, enough said..... this change just comes at a time when One Direction & The Wanted are to be competing for a number 1 single spot soon, it's not a coincidence , just like they changed the rules one day after Whitney's death. the Billboard Chart always has its way of preventing foreign acts from dominating the chart and that's a fact, just like they did in the late 90's....
  2. Great climbs for Ellie Goulding & Calvin Harris.... But why is Adele Rumor has it Dropping so fast???? Is it the new chart rules????
  3. But the rest of the top 20 is mostly made up of rap/hip hop tunes which proves my theory....
  4. If u look at the On demand chart for this week, it's mostly dominated by R&b and hip hop, which I think was the main reason behind adding streaming into the Hot 100, to block the new dominance by UK pop and dance music.... Same thing happened in the late 90's when UK pop acts such as Spice Girls, All Saints and Five were scorin huge hits in the States, they decided to increase the airplay effect on the Hot 100 which led to all these songs falling off the charts quickly the next week....
  5. Last year there were albums who reached number 1 on 40 k sales......
  6. why is Adele 'Rumor' rising so slowly??? i hugely doubt it will become her 4th number 1, but hope it reaches top 10 on the BB Hot 100....
  7. It's amazing that Estelle's new album managed to outpeak her last album especially since her last album contained an international number 1 smash while her new one only has one Number 100 song....
  8. Amazing for Estelle, finally a second Hot 100 hit for her..... It's such a wonderful song.... hopefully it will climb higher next week. It totally deserves to be another top 20 for her....
  9. no , I meant it's something great to see so Many UK acts do well Stateside, it's so amazing.... But I wished there were more room for them back in the 90's and 00's : many great UK acts such as Robbie Williams, Steps, Sugababes , Geri haliwell, Billie Piper, East 17 and many other UK acts would've scored big back then...
  10. Where is eternal's just a step from Heaven??? As I recall it reached the top 75 back in the 90's....
  11. Amazing feat for the Wanted, they achieved something that neither Take That, westlife, Blue , Boyzone , Five or any other british/Irish boy band could since the 80's.... Which is scoring a US top 5.... Good luck for One Direction too, and hope they will follow suite.... Great to see almost 20% of the US chart occupied by UK acts which is almost a miracle considering that back in the 90's, only 1 or 2 UK acts maximum were in the BB hot 100 per week.....
  12. New record for Adele, first Female artist to place 3 solo singles in the US Hot 100... Yet another record broken by the diva......
  13. It's too bad her new single flopped worldwide given the promotion and exposure it got.... That's what happen when u try too hard to be hip and young at 53....!!!! Too many Brit artists in the Top 100, feels like the 80's all over again ....
  14. Great increases for Nicki Minaj & Calvin Harris... Very low airplay for Madonna.....
  15. It's a shame that Selena's airplay is now decreasing at the same time of her sales increase....
  16. How? It already had sold 5.8 million copies of Rolling by the time she performed it.... set fire is her current single and was more appropriate choice to help it reach number 1 again...
  17. Adele should've performed Set Fire to the rain on the Grammys instead of the worn out Rolling In The Deep, it would've guaranteed it a return to number 1 for at least 2 more weeks instead of Kelly clarkson and Katy Perry
  18. It's actually at number 14 not 16.... Should be corrected....
  19. :arrr: do u really think that?? how much album have LMFAO sold so far?? not more than 3 % of Adele or Coldplay's total, enuff said...
  20. WOW at Adele's sales!! great achievement in this day & age!! who would've thought 5 years ago that a Brit girl would rule the Billboard Singles & albums chart for sooo many weeks?? and also can't believe 'Celebaration' only sold 300 k in the US so far !!
  21. i'm not angry or shouting just shocked at the fact that neither Adele, Coldplay , or any other brit artist got enough views to rank among the top 25.... i'm sure they're more popular worldwide than Don Omar or LMFAO... :o
  22. great climbs by Jessie J & the Wanted... it's a shame Adele isn't number 1 anymore, but i hope it re-climbs there after the Grammys....
  23. it's a sure bet for top 10 in the next 2 weeks (probably next week), hope it goes top 5 !!!! it's currently in the itunes top 5....
  24. If you were to create your own 12-track covers album, which songs would you choose by which artists & who would u like to see hear cover these tracks. Rules are, You have to mention the original song's performer + your dream cover artist for the song. Example :Lady Gaga - Like A Virgin (Madonna) Also the song should not already have been covered by that artist, it should be an as-yet unrecorded unreleased cover. Here are my choices for my dream covers album. Song - Artist Chosen ( Original Artist with video below) 1.If you don’t love me – Adele (original by Kylie Minogue) it’s not a typical Kylie song, very Adele-ish, so I think it really suits her voice. N3NQFN__67s 2.The Boy is Mine – Will Young & Joe McElderry (original by Brandy & Monica) it would be very daring to have the first openly gay song by an openly gay duo. Va1Y6uAgNJY 3.Primitive – Rihanna (original by Cyndi Lauper) , a very underrated 80’s track from Cyndi Lauper but was a hit in some countries, would be great if it was transformed into a huge worldwide smash. f1XNf6PQYY4 4.Glad You Came – Coldplay (original by the Wanted) , the intro really sounds like a Coldplay song, I don’t see why this song couldn’t be covered by Coldplay, that would be interesting. 2ggzxInyzVE&ob=av3e 5.Do Ya Think I'm Sexy - Shayne Ward (original by Rod Stewart) Shayne Ward is sexy, so this song might suit him better than Rod Steward, maybe it could revive his career. lwgwVhmRprY&feature=related 6. Money - Justin Timberlake (original by Michael Jackson) Justin's voice could suit many MJ song, but i think if he chose an unknown one, it would make him less of an MJ copycat. qRFHSxqvF4Y the rest is to come........
  25. amazing to see Adele still going strong at number 1 with even bigger sales!!!! another record for the new QUEEN ADELE !!!!
