Hopefully Rita Ora, Ellie Goulding and Cher Lloyd can make the hot 100 each with their follow up singles....

It's the first time in the UK charts that we have 2 new entries in the top 10 by UK artists... Plus One Direction scored the highest new entry by a UK artist ever Stateside...

Ellie Goulding should've rereleased Lights (the single) in the UK after its huge success in the US... It could've been a top 5 for her at least....

You forgot about Roxette which are the biggest Swedish export after Abba, they sold more than 85 million records worldwide, scored 4 US number 1's ( while Abba only have 1), and they had many worldwide number 1 not to mention 20 UK top 40 hits ......

Adele deserves to score that first number 1 James Bond song... That song is amazing !!! It's actually weird that Adele is reaching number 1 everywhere with Sky Fall except in her home country....

Not that it's ruining her life but I think it matters to her and her fans... Besides she's British so I'm sure she cares whether she's loved & appreciated in her home country or not... Right after she was hailed at the Grammys with six awards, her Brits acceptance speech was cut short so a UK number 1 would be a nice way to say sorry to Adele from her UK fans...

Hope that Adele can hang on to the number 1 spot throughout this week, she needs that number 1, it's a shame that she only has 1 UK number 1 while she has 3 in the US....

Yes but that was before the new chart rules which increased the importance of airplay and streaming... Now u need at least 500 k or more to compete for the number 1 spot without airplay... boyfriend by Justin Bieber sold more than 500 k in the US yet it only made number 2....

It was Madonna she reached number 8 with Die another day....

If Heart Skips a beat wasn't a top 40 hit in thE US then I don't know what will... It's by far his catchiest song ever... Gaga only has 3 number 1 singles in the US, but now it's much harder to debut at number 1 in the BB hot 100 since airplay and streaming importance increased after the chart rules shift....

OMG @ the sales.... this WAS and will always be the best era for CD singles music sales (physical)ever.... it was really high times for the UK music industry... shame it's all gone now... :(

shame that the Pet Shop Boys album left the top 75 after 2 weeks only... and also Nelly Furtado after 1 week..... 2 great album underperforming.... :mellow: No Doubt should've been a lot higher, such an amazing comeback....

Parking Lot is the single that might save it she just needs to promote it.....
