'Papi' is one of the best pop tunes of the year, and it should be a top 10 at least, it's just catchy & funky... hopefully it will recover so she could release another single from 'Love'... 'Hypnotico' would sound nice...

i'm sure 'Hangover' will be a huge hit soon, just like 'Dynamite', it's bound to be.... 'Break your heart' was amazing IMHO.... and 'Higher' even better, due to Kylie of course...

Goldfrapp Best of is needed & a Rihanna one is not bad either ...

older???? she's only 29 or God's sake... J.Lo started her music career at that age.... Madonna & MJ & Janet & Kylie did their best dance performances around the age of 40 so the age factor isn't relevant :mellow:

which artists you would like to make a comeback, artists that have been away for a long time (2 years at least) & haven't been releasing anything major recently (unsuccesful collaborations don't count) ???? What should their new sound & image be in order for them to be successful again or at least stand a chance?? or how would u like their comeback to sound ? Here is a list of artists i like & i think haven't said their last word + my opinion on what their comeback should sound like.... -Garbage : they used to be the kings of electro-rock, their last album 'Bleed like me' was released in 2005 and was disappointing compared to their usual standards... they were supposed to release an album in 2011 but they didn't so far... their new album IMO should sound like their first 3 albums : pure electro-rock songs with catchy melancholic melodies... at least it would give me the opportunity to see them live.... -Madonna : ok so she's been away musically for 3 years & is due to release a new album in 2012... i hope her new sound is very electro , very Goldfrapp meets funk... her last album was OK but overproduced... she should work with new fresh producers not cliché ones like Guetta & Timabland & Red One.... -Little Boots: She released one of the best yet most underrated albums of all time 'Hands', it was not promoted at all, she should've released more singles before releasing it . 'Stuck on repeat', 'Mathematics','Meddle' and 'Symmetry' are all classics waiting to happen yet they were completely ignored... if she did some real promotion as Lady Gaga or Rihanna she could've sold 3 million of this great masterpiece which is her debut album. She should come up with some of the same quality of music with more promotion maybe this would help re-sell her debut album Adele, Amy style..... -Geri Haliwell: the Queen of all Spices, she has scored more solo number 1's in the UK than any other British female, her first 3 albums were amazing, very underrated though especially 'Passion' who flopped badly, that album was very good tbh but underpromoted... i think she should comeback with a new sound that combines her old ones + new productions & collaborations... -Cyndi Lauper: she released a great dance album back in 2008 'Bring ya to the brink' but was unnoticed... this time she should come back with the same formula but with famous collaborations (Lady Gaga, Rihanna , Guetta...) if she wants to be noticed again... -Gabrielle : one of the most successful British female singers of all time ,she's the one who dared to release nu-soul jazz songs long before Amy Winehouse ,Duffy, Adele& Paloma... 2009 was the right time for her to make a comeback but she didn't... she can release a stong album now with jazz & blues influences with a new production... -Kelly Osbourne : her 2005 album 'Sleeping in the nothing' is an underrated flop, it was such an amazing album, she should've promoted it more... she should come back with more of the same screaming rock chick formula with an 80's electro twist... -Dannii Minogue : her last proper album was in 2003 'Neon nights' : a modern day dance-pop masterpiece... if her new album is just 10% as good then it's a winner... i hope she escapes from the X-Factor hype & baby stuff & gets back in the recording studio & does what she's best at.... -Holly Valance: Her last album 'State of mind' was an electro 80's inspired masterpice & is still praised by music blogs today... her lack of promotion & single releases ( she should've released 'Desire', 'Roll Over' , 'Hypnotic' from it) resulted in the album underperforming & charting at a low number 60 in the UK.... she should make a comeback with a similar sound & more promotion caus' she's a natural performer, and at 28 she's still has many active years ahead... -Rachel Stevens : where did she disappear?? her last album was released a zillion years ago... her new sound should be upbeat generic dance, maybe that would make her successful again, which i doubt...

Usher (has at least 17 hits) David Guetta (same also) Jennifer Lopez Shakira (an english one)

Susan's first two albums combined sold more than Adele's first two in the US.....

the CD singles market is dead & gone and sure the CD album market will follow suite in a few years time (probably 6 or 7)... UK Cd album sales fast decline just proves that fact & the US album sales improvement of 2011 is just because Digital albums have made a huge gain....

great increase for Adele, hopefully her increase can help her regain the BBHot 100 number 1 after a few weeks....

actually it was one of the best albums of the past 2 years, but she chose to release the worst song on it 'Well well well' :puke2: that's why it flopped....while she could've easily released 'Keeping my baby' or 'Lovestruck' & made the album a huge success....

totally agree with these two comments... if u can't afford something, just don't buy it. :mellow: same goes for clothes, food & everything else, just because u can't afford it and it's available for stealing doesn't make the crime less punishable... i own 15.000 CD's in my house and i've been collecting since 1991 (i was 12 back then),( i remember the first 3 Cd's i got were gifts from my dad : Michael Jackson's 'Dangerous' :yahoo: , Texas 'Mother' & Simply Red's 'Stars') the price of a CD in Lebanon is 17 USD (12 pounds) so usually i wait until the albums are on sale & i buy them... last week i bought 500 CD's on sale from a music shop in Beirut which was closing down, the CDs were for 2 USD (1.4 GBP) each :dance: , most of them were relatively new releases or classic albums ( by MJ, Janet, Pink Floyd, Britney, PSB, Kylie,Spice Girls etc...), so i don't see why i have to illegaly download when i could get the actual physical thing for a great price... same goes for UK where album prices is low 7 GBP for a new release -which is the price of a burger- which would u rather have for 7 GBP??? A burger which u would defecate in 2 hours or a CD which u could listen to for a lifetime???? :blink:

Elton John, George Michael; Duran Duran, Kim Wilde, Coldplay, Rick Astley,Spice Girls, Susan Boyle...to name but a few... all had more succesful careers than Adele so far...

amazing sales again for Adele... high new entry from Lenny Kravitz...didn't expect that from an underpromoted album.

the Spice Girls actually..... they were a lot bigger... maybe u don't remember but back in 96-98, they were the biggest act on the planet racking up number 1's all over the globe in coutries where Adele could only dream of reaching... so OK Adele may have the voice & she's not a manufactured pop star, but the Spice Girls were way... way more succesful....

i like the 5 songs... but i chose Nelly Furtado...

she should re-release 'Put your hands up' or 'Cupid Boy' and feature Tinie on guest vocals, it would give the song a major boost... & the album too....

great for Adele... why on earth is Katy Perry still number 1???? ... she's like number 16 on itunes....

glad to see Adele at 1 in the US again with 'Someone like you'... hope it becomes her 2nd number 1 on the BB Hot 100...

yeah i know she's doing amazing but this is her most successful album to date and probably in her whole career and the most successful album of the year worldwide, so why didn't she bother to release a music video follow up to 'Rolling in the deep'???? i'm sure she could spare a few hours to shoot a video for 'Someone Like you' or 'Set fire to the rain'... :angry:
