Loads of players are seeded and pull out either before match or after draw so Murray no different he said he felt ok the few sessions he had at least he didnt do like some and turn up first round go on court then pull out keeping prize money and he no way been an embarrassment being Number 1 from Wimbledon onwards lots of players have been number 1 and injured and hold it due to no other player having consistent enough results to put them close or have nothing to their name major (Dinara Safina rings a bell in the womens side) Murray has been unlucky getting this hip problem after achieving all he did last year. Nadal being number 1 now is basically because everyone else been injured so no real competition for him or to keep their own ranking points up by playing week after week. In other news Vandeweghe half way into the semis took first set against Pliskova can she make it three out of four americans through and if does will Keys feel pressure of making it an all american Semi and final

I binged watched all series 1 over the weekend and loved it so was ready for series 2 and loved it so gripping and enthralling. Ros I want to slap she would be out of my friends circle straight away, did she learn nothing from her actions prior. Roll on next week though I'm interested to see where it goes

I know it wont be but I was thinking could it be Abi who dies, random scene with her and Louie that wasn't really needed with all that was happening going on about baby, brother/sister for Louie, she be his mummy and Steven his dad and they all live together and she seems to be heading towards Beales, that would have a massive impact, Steven, Max, Lauren all be effected in different ways, Jane saved but in coma or something then guilt makes Steven spill all and do a runner at hallowe'en... I just really don't want it to be Jane but it did feel final last night, don't want it to be Steven either as he's a Cindy child and related to Pat and I reallllly don't want to put up with Ian's crying

2002 was best for US women at the US Open when Venus, Serena, Davenport, Capriati and Seles all got to last 8... unsure of rest

I think the gas explosion was deliberate, You heard something metal get hit while Phil was looking at the square just before it went, probably a protester hitting it so if anyone does die from that little gas pipe bit then no-one on the square be done for it. And how fast can Jane move these days she was all over that square in different locations on her crutches, home, outside launderette, back home, cafe, home, beales ... I really do feel she knows too much but I really hope it isn't her who dies

Well Del Potro did it came back from 2 sets down to win in 5, he even said he nearly retired in 2nd set as felt couldn't breathe, no such luck for Goffin though went out in three. Madison Keys taking out #4 Svitolina puts 4 US women into the last 8, we could in theory have an all US semi and final if they all win their Quarters Quarter Final Men Nadal (1) V Rublev Federer (3) V Del Potro (24) Querrey (17) V Anderson (28) Carreno Busta (12) V Schwartzman (29) Quarter Finals Ladies Pliskova (1) V Vandeweghe (20) Keys (15) V Kanepi Kvitova (13) V Williams (9) Sevastova(16) V Stephens

Yeah I reckon thats the highlight I think Del Potro may win it he been very good lately. Pliskova totally blasted Brady 6/1 6/0 in 46mins and Nadal just took out Dolgopolov 6/2 6/4 6/1 Goffin 2 sets down to Rublev which is surprising

Nadal and Federer through to fourth round, Federer in 3 sets easier than previous matches, Goffin, Del Potro, Thiem all through the top half of the mens draw is packed compared to bottom half. Pliskova came through in 3 sets again, more surviving then stamping authority. Vandeweghe took out Radwanska and Kasakatina took out Ostapenko, Svitolina and Madison Keys also through

Cilic and Isner fall out of the draw as does Kyle Edmund who was battling injury at start of third set. The highest ranked male at bottom side of draw is Carreno-Busta!

I really hope it is not Jane, I like her and her character and I dont want to have to cope with Ian grieving for an age and losing another wife, but it does all seem to point to her.... Moving away flat found deposit ready, Bobby putting on phone list, Walking virtually unaided, Walford in bloom her thing etc so it does all seem to point to her. I see a lot on digispy praying for it to be her for the whole Lucy thing but I often forget she even did anything in that story so I don't mind her staying. I think Kush in for some injury or something as the platform him and Martin put together then Shrimpy saying all the screws they left unused so thats bound to collapse with either Kush on it or someone else.. Stacey? I think EE really ramped itself up over the last few weeks, its good having Linda back and next week is all guns blazing from the looks of it, I just hope it doesn't fizzle out within an episode.

Certainly the young pretenders shining and causing the upsets at the moment. Berdych fell last night as well although injured. Nadal through in 4 and Federer again scraped through in 5 sets, I think he be out with a harder opponent. Kuznetsova fell in the womens as did Strycova and Gavrilova from the seeds

Kyle Edmund through to 3rd round for second year running took out Steve Johnson in straight sets and his next opponent isn't the expected Tsonga who was taken out by the very talented Shapalov who beat Kyle at queens and defaulted the Davis Cup tie by hitting ball and it hitting umpire in eye. Seeds seem to be dropping like flies on both sides yesterday... Mens we lost: Tsonga, Kyrgios, A.Zverev, Gasquet, Muller, Cuevas, Ramos-Vimalos, Fognini Womens we lost: Wozniacki, Lucic-Baroni, Cibulkova, Peng, Mladonovic, Pavlyuchenkova, Kontavett Sharapova came through in three sets, bottom half of her draw opened up and reckon she will have a decent run and the mens half with Cilic in has opened up as well with Tsonga and Zverev going out
  17. I quite like the album, I prefer this over 'Reflection' that I basically liked the singles and not much else but I still prefer '7/27' overall. 'Don't Say You Love Me' a stand out for me and 'Make You Mad'
  18. I Actually really enjoyed it, I didn't mind the first ad break as got chance to make a cuppa and the second ad got some snacks , was peckish by then due to gorgeous food on my screen lol... but I didnt like the final ad before the reveal of star baker it seemed pointless and like an episode of X Factor. I didn't really miss Mary, Prue seemed the perfect replacement, old lady who you want to be your nan. Sandi I adore and fitted in nicely and surprisingly I liked Noel when I initially thought he be so out of place, the only thing that threw me was when he did some of the voice overs it didn't feel right and could only think cos so used to Mel and Sue doing it, Sandi didn't throw me it felt more natural, maybe I just prefer female voice overs lol. Like the contestants, right one left first, first star baker spot on, Flo is amazing and Tom and Steven lets hope they can keep rising to the challenge every week and keep me tuned in ;-)

Nadal won in three although was down a break in the first set. Federer through in five sets against Tiafoe, People said his movement wasn't fluid like normally is questioned his back injury but he said he was just nervy. Was a washout really only main court got full play all other matches cancelled so be lots happening today

Defending champ Kerber follows Halep out the Us losing 6/3 6/1 to Osaka. I think Sharapova welcome was quite warm from what I read

From what I can gather Jo's serve went very awol and Krunic took momentum and did what she did to Keys and Kvitova used the power to her advantage, she also thrived on the crowd who filtered in and started to fill out the court half way through the match. Yeah Watson losing was no surprise to me either she has not beaten Cornet and Cornet is a good player, Heather always seems to do good for a few months then nothing, she seems to get going and the just hits a wall she showed a lot of potential and since winning Us Juniors hasn't won a match there since
