That 2002 chart was the last chart show that Mark Goodier presented back in the day. Spookily both the 1992 and 2002 charts featured a dance cover of a Bryan Adams track (Rage in 1992, DJ Sammy in 2002).

Which chart weeks were corrected?
I believe X Factor Finalists 2010 (which had significant physical sales) were initially announced as #18, then revised to #22. 4 May 2002 initially had Faithless - One Step Too Far listed twice. The lower entry was subsequently removed.

Most controversial UK #1 ever?
One that caused a bit of controversy at the time was The Jam's A Town Called Malice/Precious, which was available in 2 different formats, allowing it to beat Golden Brown by The Stranglers to #1 despite more people buying the latter song. Obviously releasing songs in multiple formats subsequently became commonplace.
