Album The Family Jewels reached #5 in the UK and went top 10 in Ireland and Greece. 3 – Delphic. Album Acolyte reached #8 at the start of the year – however they did not manage a top 75 single (the highest being the #79 hit Doubt). 4 – Hurts. Were very successful across Europe – album Happiness reached the top 10 in 9 European countries (reaching #4 in the UK). They had 3 top 50 hits, the biggest of which was the #21 hit Wonderful Life (which went top 10 in 4 European countries, including Germany where it reached #2). 5 – The Drums.
