I think the people of Barcelona know better and chose the life they want but looks like the choice is affecting the region https://tranio.com/spain/analytics/barcelon...eferendum_5443/ Fewer people are eager to invest money in Barcelona now, though it was a significant trend the last couple of years. We shall see how this all will turn out.
  2. It's generally good but wasn't a big surprise. I felt like they decided to stick more to some visual part sticking to that retro style. Though I love Johanna's vocal parts in Fireworks. True revelation

Are they all faking Russian accent?
  4. I watched Resident Evil as a child and it disturbed me to the point that I barely watch horror movies ever since. Maybe one in two years but no more
  5. I'm rooting for Chalamet, that's such a beautiful work of his. Will be glad if Gary Oldman wins too, just like him ever since Harry Potter :D Judging by previous awards he stands a good chance to get the Oscar this year. Surprized there is no Michael Shannon on the list, though I'm not a fan so not disappointed
  6. yep, they milk Star Wars indeed. many people don;t expect much from the movies but still go to see them for the old times' sake. I can't even decide whether it's good or bad. As for this spin-off, I'm afraid it's not my thing this time, though I rather enjoyed Rogue-one and Episode VII. I'm just not a big fan of Solo in the first place. And don't like the cast in the teaser (apart from Lando) The Mother of Dragons looks somewhat out of place :D

the only reason I follow this year's Brits is because of Laura Marling. Maybe she'll be lucky this time. Though after all it doesn't matter much. I'd be glad to see Arcade Fire, London Grammar and the XX win something. But not Ed Sheeran please it's just ridiculous
  8. wow that was weird  though now I'm intrigued what will follow...
  9. Do It is great really. remember her from her burberry acoustic video and I was afraid she won't get too far after that. fortunately I was wrong :)
  10. wow great song. actually didn't even hope to hear anything new from her in the next couple of years. she's been involved in some social projects and I thought it would be her focus for the time being. cool anyway, glad to hear her back

So many of my fav artists list her as an inspiration, and I found out about her mainly through covers of her songs. But when I listen to her I just don't dig it :( She writes good songs though. And I think if I were a fan of her back in 80' I wouldn't attend her shows now because it's just not the same
  12. I voted for. Seem like it's high time for something like this to happen. I'll be oversimplifying things now, but it's something like a pension to my mind. So many generations of people have brought our society to the current level of technologies and science and people work less with their hands, machines play a greater part. It's only fair for people to get some part of the generated profit too, for everything that has been done by our ancestors
  13. Somehow I couldn't get past the original Sims 2. Some of the addons and the later stuff seemed overly complicated with so much new stuff to explore. I felt ill at ease in that updated environment and just gave up the whole thing. Though simming some crazy family trees with tragic death and families with unhealthy relationships and crazy twists was quite fun. I could spend days on end in front of the monitor. I tried it again a couple of years ago and it was quite fun, but lasted for a day or so :D
  14. So far I've only seen The Last Jedi - aaaand it's rather a disappointment. After it spun 2 hours I couldn't wait for it to stop really. The porgs were cute, and it was fun watching Kylo's progress, but that's all. literally
  15. I will be rooting for Sally Hawkins and the Shape of Water. It's very beautiful, I'm still haunted by the atmosphere
