Anyone pick up the jay-z hits album? Dropped yesterday...http://bit.ly/hMkbX4 . i personally think its lacking a few of his old hits. songs like run this town could EASILY be replaced by the old fire HOV brought. hopefully they make a better song selection on volume 2..any opinions?

What do you guy's think of their new single "Hot-N-Fun" Feat. Nelly Furtado? Personally, I really like it and I think this industry was in need of the return from Pharell & the rest of the N.E.R.D clan. Would anyone agree? I have to say I am definitely feeling this track and it will go up there on my personal list of favorite songs. I was surfing the web to purchase it but apparently Coca-Cola has paired up with Myspace to offer free weekly downloads and guess what? It just so happens this is the song of the week! So i recently came across Dan Black and he's looking like an artist on the rise. his music is pretty electro/indie/pop ish and while it's not usually the type of music I listen to, Symphonies is pretty catchy. I started to like it more after watching the video also... it's pretty artsy and sort of takes you through cinematic history. Great way to spend a few minutes of your day. honestly, santogold caught me by surprise. i tried to resist at first but i am strangely drawn to this stuff. heard this song and i think it's pretty freaking awesome.

Just a quick one for fans of “The Bravery.” They have a free video download on iTunes this week for their video “Slow Poison.” It was the first time I’d seen the video. Kinda trippy but still really good! This band has really grown in its musicality! Sooo gooood!! Has anyone else seen it? What did you think?

I’m looking forward to some turkey day football. First game is Green Bay @ Detroit, followed by Oakland @ Dallas and the nightcap is New York Giants @ Denver. None of these matchups seem to be all that compelling to me but at least it's football. The Green Bay/Detroit game is a tradition.
