Added Rose Gray's Angel of Satisfaction to my 2024 list FYI.

Dido – White Flag my favourite Dido song! So understated yet packs an emotional punch. A classic and rightly so. Agnes – Selfmade not heard this one before but loving it! Hope it does well for her. Marina – Bubblegum Bitch bop! Seems a very wise choice for round 1. Kate Bush – Hounds of Love really enjoyed this one - looking forward to hearing more from her. Leona Lewis – Better In Time never been a Leona essential for me but actually sounds surprisingly good in 2026. Sophie Ellis-Bextor – Music Gets the Best Of Me again, never been a favourite of mine but still a solid track. Robyn – Talk To Me this is a good start from Robyn. Jessie Ware – Sauna good but not a song I'd go back to tbh. Adele – Hello the perfect round 1 song choice based on title alone lmao. Always found this to be a bit overblown/melodramatic though. Not a fave by any means but not the worst here. Milica – Ona Nosi Pradu love an underdog story but this just wasn't doing it for me this round. Zara Larsson – Love Me Land this is not my cuppa sadly. Tove Lo - Influence again, not my cuppa.

Taylor and Bianca omg!!!

Quite a few poll saboteurs amongst us. 👀

Silent Disco and Headache.

I'll aim to send mine later tonight/early tomorrow.

Ultravox – Sleepwalk Vengaboys – We Like to Party! Dead Or Alive – Misty Circles M83 – Oblivion Years & Years – Take Shelter Fontaines D.C. – A Lucid Dream Texas – When We Are Together Depeche Mode – See You Bananarama – Na Na Hey Hey New Order – Ruined In A Day Iamamiwhoami – Play Sade – The Sweetest Taboo A fantastic track there from Ultravox - very excited to see what else they bring to this competition. The Vengabus has arrived! Absolute classic. Misty Circles, Oblivion and Take Shelter were all great discoveries too. Also enjoyed Fontaines D.C., Texas and Depeche Mode to a lesser extent. Not fussed on either of the Bananarama and New Order choices there. The bottom two songs just didn't do it for me (sorry!).

Natural at Disaster.

Ok I'll have a think.

Thanks for the 8 points and getting me off 0 Severin!

FYI I edited my post to add 1 to 2022 and 2 to 2025.

I mean, is it too late to cancel the first round elimination? Maybe a double elim in round 2 instead?

Madonna's Confessions II. What an album!

Would love a top 10 finish but I won't hold my breath given my track record.

Sam Fender – Chin Up Roosevelt - Luna Lewis Capaldi – Hold Me While You Wait Tom Grennan – Found What I’ve Been Looking For Sam Smith – Diamonds Gary Numan – We Are Glass Calvin Harris – Feel So Close HRVY – Hasta Luego Mackenzy Mackay – Want You For Life Damien Rice – 9 Crimes Darin – Lovekiller Bladee – Cartier’God Icedancer Great Fender pick whoever chose it. Roosevelt is my top SM discovery of the week - BOP. Fantastic picks for Lewis, Tom and Sam. We Are Glass was a good discovery: intrigued to hear more from Gary. The Calvin choice isn't exactly a CH essential for me but seems a solid first round pick. So much talent in this category omg! I wonder if we'll get our first solo male (/NB) podium finish this season.

I plan to come back to it. There must be something from that year I enjoyed. edit: just realised I can distribute the remaining 3 to other years so I'll be doing that.
